I really appreciate bike checks, on bikes that are regularly used. Especially from people in the trade - they generally filter out marketing guff, and use what works well. Would be good to see the bike-carrying in action.
Awesome video! So the bike checks are cool. I like restos and have some of the parts myself but resto mods are my fave. Old with the new mixed up, reflects the times. Even if unconventional but that work, real mechanical stuff.
@ - I like stridsland journal, sim works, crum works and so on. Not many videos feature their components and mods. Hobo hub works does a lot of great bikes on instagram and facebook.
Those are really cool bikes! I was just curious about the seat height on both bikes. Seems a bit higher than usual, but hey, everyone's different. Maybe it's super comfy for you?
Hey! I don't have the exact tooth count on hand but it basicly means the step between the two gears is larger than normal, I know he's running a 22t as the small ring for climbing big hills or when it's really loaded down.
Why v brakes and not linear pull. I dont have anything against v brakes but linear pull work just as well and they have fewer points of failure and look easier to.maintain.

I discovered two more brands that make racks to check out (Blackburn and Pelago), I've been looking for a rack just like that.
Pelago is still a great company, the older Blackburn stuff is good but they got bought out by Walmart and just aren't the same quality anymore.
@@mull3tmechanic Great to know, thanks.
My favorite, "would you change anything?", "I don't think so." Perfect

Yeah saddle height really depends on the frame size and your body. Mabye I should make a video about that 🤔
Mind sharing the front crank chain-ring numbers? What does he mean by a super, wide-range, double?
Thanks!!!

what are the nuts hanging on the saddle for?
Why are there nuts tied to the back of the saddle?
Hold the leather
It's like truck nuts but for bikes haha

They are cantilevers
