I stayed in an Ocean Pool Villa, it didn't have a private hammock. The hammock I sat on in this video was at the sunset bar, they have a few for guests to use during the day!

Thank you for the video! My husband and I are thinking about going to this location for our honeymoon. Are there any negatives or things you wish you knew before going?

Hey, I'd say the biggest negative is the distance from Male airport. I recommend booking an early morning arrival to minimize wait times for your domestic flight. Also book all of your resort activities in advance or at checkin because alot of slots were full when we arrived. And this is just a preference, but I loved the villas on the sunset side of the resort better than sunrise (better views). Plan ahead and you'll have the trip of a lifetime! Enjoy ❤️

Hey, they swept away our luggage at Male airport and we didn't see it until they brought it to our room on the resort. So you don't technically check it in but they do take it from you upon landing. There are weight restrictions on those smaller planes so be sure to double check that before packing
