It would be preferable not to as the body and chassis currently are constructed, from a structural perspective the load forces over time will potentially be a lot. This is not to say its an impossibility - Only way that may be feasible would be to weld bracing from the rear of the chassis through the entire box inside to essentially frame it out - but would take some further analysis by the design team for something like that to be achieved.
Hi Joey - you need to make sure the Harley is no longer than 2200L as this is the internal width of the Toy hauler from a side loading. You can always opt for a rear loading if you need more room. The Quad shown in this video is approx. 300kg roughly - we can accommodate larger platforms but obviously the BOP changes according to what is the planned weight in the vehicle.
Hi thanks for getting back I will measure the bike. I think for memory the bike weight is about 330 dry. And I'm on my own so a standard double bed is heaps to give a closet and to get around the bed I like the large batt n sola upgrade and also a full stove oven. The reason I like the side entry because otherwise the van will be to long to haul. Is the fridge a 3 way system y and is there room for another fresh water tank under the van ? Also send me your phone number cheers
@joeyzammit933 I'd say it'll be 330kg wet unless it a CVO or Road King.Fatbob is 318kg & is 2.329m Long so would need atleast 2.4m wide internal space 2.5m be better. Some toy haulers are 8ft(2.44m) wide so a Harley like a Fatbob,Softtail would fit & payload is 750kg.Also if garage is 8ft by 8ft you can fit 2 road bikes. Also a good idea 💡 for you with this brand & model toy hauler is getting a 8ft rear loading so you can fit your 1 Harley bike in their & if 330kg weight might be OK or like HE said beef it up.Having 8ft rear loading will eat into living area I would suggest a Murphy bed on rear wall which doubles as a couch & have garage sealed off by a internal door 🚪 like this model to stop petrol fumes.Having Murphy bed which doubles as couch will free up room so you can have similar layout to this but 8ft long garage & smaller kitchen bench. Murphy beds you can leave made up permanently too if living in it. Be able to fit upright riding position bikes in 2.2m wide space like Triumph Speedtwin 900-1200 & many other upright riding position bikes Cruisers will need rear loading & 8ft long garage to fit. My bike Speedtwin would fit & could bolt a chock in middle to keep bike upright & stable without using a stand. Is a pity it's not atleast 2.35-2.4m wide as your bike would probably fit but you can get wider.
not everything in life suits everyone... the beds are 2030Lx 1540W which is a std queen mattress size in a house so its designed in the industry in comparison on the larger side. Also if you took the time to check out the website these layouts are made to order or to your specification - if you have a Harley the Ramp needs to go at the rear as well as other modifications. Layouts aren't a one size fits all and we get that, that's why we tailor the vehicles to suit client specs :)
Can you have ramp doors on both sides ?

Can you tell me if it will fit a harley cruiser if that step was filled and what weight load on that rear ?

Sorry, the EAST WEST bed is no good for tall folks, ditto the orientation for the bike cargo. No room for a long bike such as a HD
