I bought the book this movie's based on with the intention of getting my nephew to read it when he's at that grade level. This film has a lot to live up to because there's a few moments in the source material that made my eyes water. The book doesn't shy away from some of nature's cruelty and the robot's character arc is just fantastic.

I read the book after seeing this trailer. I did really appreciate the portrayal of nature as brutal and beautiful. Currently re-reading the book before diving into the sequels. I hope they do it justice.

I believe Lupita Nyong'O is the voice of the robot. I've read the book and she seems a good fit for Roz, who is presented as female.
