I love your idea for the nursing home gifts. It had me teary eyed when you said they were asking if the gift was for them. . . . so sad! I already have quite a bit of inventory for that very thing. I have socks, blankets, warm scarves, small toiletry items. I will get crossword puzzles, adult coloring books, stationery, and greeting cards with stamps for them to send out to their family members . . . etc. I guess if I were to provide candy . . . it might be sugar free . . . unless I know for sure if they can eat regular food. Let me know when your senior/nursing home gift giving website is up. 🙂
Thank you. Yes I want to bring something for everyone in the home. You can tell which ones who don't have visitors or receive anything. I may start carrying a messager bag filled with Christmas cards and a candy cane to hand out.
