Even some of those who knew Classic Jawa motorcycles never never heard of the little bobber Perak.
In this episode I will not just talk about the new 2022 model but will show you, kickstart and ride a fully restored 1954 Jawa Perak.
Also lots of beautiful places in Lithuania.
THANKS to Jawa Lithuania and Justas!
Thank you for watching. Авто/Мото
Happy to see that jawa is being reviewed outside of India too, have a great ride miss.
Thank you Deimante. If you are into classic and retro bikes, as I am, the Jawa is a real head turner. Great looks and perfect for B roads and leisurely country rides. Love the look and sound. Cheers and stay safe, Dan. ✌️🏍🇨🇦
Not in Canada but I liked the look of the new single; a true "retro" with new technology but the old school aesthetics. Looking forward to seeing your proud father and you riding together. Kind regards from Canada. 🇨🇦
I ride this bike everyday of my life for the last 2.5 years. It’s a great ride. Love from India :)
What a great review!! The old Jawa is stunning, and the 2022 is extremely cool..basically a bobber? It looks wicked and obviously gets along nicely. Love the detail, love the seat with the brake light. And to watch was fun and entertaining!! New subscriber today!!
Feeling happy that these bikes are made in India and you guys feels that the quality of bikes are good and Intact. Also happy that Indian companies are bringing your old memories back by making these bikes in 2022 with same quality. There are many companies that are doing it...
Bajaj - owns KTM and making Dukes and RC's
Eicher motors- Owns Royal Enfield and making classic 350, Interceptor,Himalayan
Mahindra- Owns Jawa, Yezdi and BSA and trying to bring back old classic motor cycles.
TVS - owns Norton Bikes.
sighs.
I would like to own a Jawa here in California. As a child I have seen Jawa motorcycle that my eldest brother owned about 40 years ago.
Hope Indian company exports/launches Jawa in USA also.
i'm sorry. But Jawa produced in Chechoslowakia not in India. And This modes starts produce in 1946. India starts produce Jawa only in 2018, Jawa300 model
@@elpl.atwooelektromobilnosc6209Jawa motorcycles were manufactured in India also till 1996
@@elpl.atwooelektromobilnosc6209 didn't u hear about ideal jawa & yezdi 🙄. Go and update your knowledge.
That 54 Jawa is beautiful 😍 Thank you for showing us!
Nice toe up at the end. My first motorcycle was a Bridgestone 200 cc twin two stroke.
A very nice restoration of a "basket case" of parts 1954 Jawa.
Just something about the sound and smell one never forgets.
Take care and have a wonderful week ahead.
Great review of both bikes. You can't beat a 2 stroke for easy starting. I like the retro look of the new bike.
I think you have found your brand! The best way for me to try and describe it is how so many English folk love the Royal Enfields because that is the heritage they know and those were the bikes they remember seeing their grandfathers ride! You seem to have found that same love and enthusiasm for the Jawa!
@Random Fisher and I can tell you as an Indian, you guys did the right thing by selling it over to us. We have done more for Enfield than you guys ever could. You also don't have a motorcycle culture like us. Enfields are getting every popular now because of India.
@Random Fisher The many many people buying RE in UK would beg to differ. Perhaps you are just a little uncultured for RE.
@Random Fisher now enfield 650 are most selled bikes in uk😆😆😆...is it junk then why you guys are buying it
@Random Fisher can i ask you a question are really living in 2022? still you are talking as a racist , i don't know why you guys are behaving like this , what's wrong with our country you are thinking. As indian i like to be friendly with every country people's. that's why you can see indians are everywhere. we like to explore every culture and all . why you guys discriminating us. we all are humans. Not only royal enfield lot of European companies are now managed now indians. you says enfield making bull shit right? this same thing in india we also says before 2015, until they made good engins. you know main r and d cente of enfield is in uk. when the year since British sale that company to india , company only have 500cc slow moving thump engine that british build old schools type that time india is not upgraded to build better engine we used that engines for long 30 years later india have good engineering now enfield build good bikes for budget amounts. i hope you know india not have speed cruising rodes because of high traffic due to high population , hot whether conditions so enfield making bikes that adaptable for india conditions. you are saying it's worst bikes, but enfield gained good popularity in Europe. you have to think , most of luxuri cars interior cluster software are made in india
Jawa Island...I live in that Island. Perak is Silver...
Just gorgeous and tight lines! And the bike is incredible too, lol! Seriously, classic bikes are just awesome.
What an absolutely gorgeous bike! Nice review!
I enjoyed everything you showed in this video, I love classic motorcycle... Congratulations!! You are great!!!
ive been riding since the seventies and the jawa were always good bikes xxx my father and grandfather were motorcyclists and the name was always popular xx
As we say in Ireland ,,,deadly cool video ,,loved it ,,luckily we still have lots Jawa left in Ireland ,,I remember as a young lad back in about 1970..I meet this old man who had a huge collection of Jawa,s that was my first introduction to Jawa and I have never forgotten it ,,,so really enjoyed this video ,,,or not .
Well you keep showing bikes I like!!
It reminded me a little of the BSA Bantam..
As for the Perak!
Loved the look of that too.
Am going to have to built a copy, similar bike.
👏👏👏💙💙💙
Hey , I am proud to mention that i was head of design at Classic legends and designed the new Perak !!!!
Congratulations! You did a great job.
Agg laga di apne 🔥🔥👏👏
i from Jawa (java island), Indonesia and l love Jawa motocycle. Perak means Silver in Jawa language. Jozzzz
The name 'Pérák' is the czech nickname for a motorbike Jawa (1947) equipped with springs on the rear axle for the first time. Péro (CZ)= a spring (EN).
OUTSTANDING!! Went to Jawa website, I like the bikes and the PERAK is almost as big a head turner as "Tomboy." Be happy, be safe
The roads may be slower but you’ve got a lot less traffic! Looks beautiful there! I really like the new Jawa..
Thanks for the awesome video. Those are two absolutely beautiful bikes, but the 2022 has the front tire mounted backwards!
Looks slick.that old school spinger seat with no springs, makes it stand out,i had a jawa trail bike/enduro for.cew years..in australia haha trust me it was rare even back then..cool vid
Actually the bike looks really nice. Everything looks clean and modern, I like the colour.
Great review, really enjoyed it!
Excellent review of the old & new generation Jawa Perak👍🙏
Thank you 🙏🏻
I was waiting for some to drop this video
Me gustan mucho tus videos, trato de entender todo lo que explicassaludos desde México!!!!
This is actually my first bike... Love the new Jawa Perak
me too. first bike.
Sooo Many great motorcycle brands out there that have stood the test of time,,,,,Its the memories that are RARE,,,,,,,
Nice lines, that gas tank is pure art😮
the engine case shape is so rounded and the engine is the vary definition of clean.
its vary goid looking bike. 😊
Cool seat suspension method on the old classic. Great for bobbers. 🤔
Was this necessary? I had a Jawa 356, but sold it (to many problems). I've always regret it, because i really loved the looks and engineering. Very clean bike. I was just starting to forget about it and now... Now i want one again... Thanks...
Very beautiful shots btw! Nice work. Greets from Belgium
An excellent restoration on the old Jawa and the new one, although not to evryone's taste, is a very good modern retro bike and a bit different.
I thought the brand is dead almost 30 years. It looks like a nice modern bike for those who like classic style and not really into speed and don't want to spend a lot of money.
Honestly I was surprised to hear Яawa pronunciation lol, it's damn correct 💯 Here in Belarus it was a popular brand in our dads' times
Super cool bike! Great video
What a Wonderful looking machine, luv it, take care 😊😊😊🇬🇧👍🏻
Absolutely love Jawa motorcycles!
it's a tough competitor to Royal Enfield
Thanks for sharing nicely done love it😁
Great job, very beautiful motorbike, best of Java model
Look at that thing, it's stunning. I'd happily have one of those in the UK. I love that storage, rear frame thing they seem to put on all their bikes. It need the fishtail exhaust from the original though.
Never heard of this manufacturer…thanks for the thoughtful content! Missing Jonesy!😂
This manufacturer also own BSA
Це просто божествений звук в двотактної Яви. Його можна слухати замість музики.
such a beautiful bike, I love it
Very cool bike👍ideal for country lanes and city commuting 👍👍x
That's a nice looking bike! I seem to recall Jawa had a factory in New Zealand in the 1970s?? i know Ivan Mauger raced for them
I would sure like to see itt done with the paint scheme and exhast of the 54. Looks like a pleasant bike to ride.
Beautifully made retro bike 👍
Очень симпатичный велосипед. Спасибо! Было интересно! Удачи!
Откуда автор канала? Не могу понять
Very cool little bike!
beautiful , want to ride one of those across europe
Bom dia. Com certeza eu teria uma em minha garagem aqui no Brasil. JAWA PÉRÁK, muito linda. 😎
Awesome stuff
Cool looking bike.
loved the review. i own the 2021 model
Surely I didn't hear some quiet expletives when you dropped the keys did I ? Ha ha 😉 Beuatiful restoration of the old smoker and I think the modern one will be a bit of a rival for Royal Enfield
Nope 😳 I’m a good girl 😇
Beautiful bike!
Hey, you name it Jawa Perak?? im Javanese, Indonesia.. Im really impressed by that name! Silver Java if it's in English.. 😁😁
My grandad had a Jawa back in the ussr he used to race it around Latvia in championships
I have a 1974 Jawa perak 250 low mileage matching numbers everything there beautiful classic motorcycle. I love looking at the engine it has that beautiful Art Deco styling about it the new ones just can't compare.
I like the looks of this bike.
What an awesome bike!!
jawa johor jawa perak jawa selangor hadir
"Pero" in Czech language means coil spring, thus perak (where the accent ison e and also on a as if Peeraak) is meant to express the fact that, the bike has coil springs to smooth out the ride.
I've heard that Perak is a superhero type of legend that originated at the time of ww2 in Czechoslovakia. Correct me if I'm wrong though!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9r%C3%A1k,_the_Spring_Man_of_Prague
@@ayonbiswas4186 Being a Czech man for 70 years, I have heard and seen many things in my life. But this is the first time I heard about Pérák the Superhero. The Wiki article might be true, but obviously the story did not get much traction and was soon forgotten. Anyway - Pérák( as the article clearly indicated) was a spring man(meaning a man of coil springs, rather then of the year season). That brings me back to the name of motorcycle.... Pérák means a motorcycle with coil springs on the rear end to make the ride somewhat softer.....
Lovely looking bike👌,if they sell this bike in England/france I think enfield will be worried. No need to spend money customising the bike ...it's already done !!
Take care on the road.
Peace out ✌️
Nope... Yawa/yezdi/bsa are owned by mahindra group here in India..
Jawa will never beat RE because the combined sales of jawa/yezdi is around 3k/month while RE meteor itself does around 10k/month..
classic 350 and new hunter 350 does around 18k/month in India.. Not taking other RE bikes into picture...
Honda cb350 is superb competitor for RE 350 and its the only alternative..
Look for Honda cb350 and cb350rs..
Same price with same torque/power with excellent refinement..
The best coffee - long black coffee - is prepared by an old lady, right before midnight on old street of Yogyakarta, in island of Java, or in Indonesian tongue, Jawa island.
Sounds perfect!
Interesting bike. I hope to visit Lithuania one day, I’m an Englishman with lots of friends from Vilnius. Wonderful country
I’m thinking maybe next year to organise a few days tour in Lithuania. In Summer.
You probably know from your friends in winter is not suitable for riding.
@@tomboyabit That would be amazing, I’m hoping to take my family one summer. We’re a mix of German, Italian and French ethnicity. I cannot forget the Lieutuviskas Midus which our friends gifted to us. Powerful!!
hey metoo interested in visit Lithuania...love from india🇮🇳
Yep it looks like the gear shift is also the kick starter. I saw my Dad kick one and have it snap into first and take of dragging him to a jog, before he got it under control. Cheeky bloody thing, ran well though, cheap on juice. That was a fun, days ride in the country, solo or two up, mountain or highway it seemed a fair kind of bike. That Dad of mine could go all day with a smile, he loved his bikes, brought back his youth. RIP Dad
JAWA has had a combined rod for shifting and kick starting since 1955. The shaft is pushed into the gearbox via the spring and the gear shift is tilted to the kick starting position.
Lithuania is 65.000 square kilometers large. So, a bit more space to ride that Perak around ;) Nice looking bike.
Nice bike!
I am soory but I can quite sometimes understand your english and java is a good brand that's been brought to life again
I think most modern bikes look so bulky and clumsy, especially the laid back cruiser type of bikes. This one looks really nimble though, it has a nice design. I'd like to try one!
Thanks for uploading! Greetings from Sweden
Theres a reason for that, the small engine and nimble design is essential for Indian traffic. If you have a big bike here you'll be stuck in traffic unable to filter through and stuck with a heating engine.
JAWA was soo popular in Poland in 80s/90s
That's a nice bike. 👍
Gosh I love you girl, greetings from UK
I had Jawa 350ts 90' in the past, it was stunning bike at the time, however now I'm riding Kawasaki Versys 1000S 2021' and looking for antother bikes, now my point is Triumph Rocket III 2021 and Suzuki Intruder VS 1400 2006'.
I hope to have all of them in my garage soon.
Good bless ya
Nice
Love those fish tail exhausts......
👍👍 reaally cool !!
"MoS"...man of steel....BUT....i steel feel, i still.....hurt
i nothing.....i ZERO!....witthout you
dudes...i'm just...an oloder man who finally learned some thingts, my guys...my loves....may you live well beyond my years, my men
Finally. I'm sharing this
🙏🏻
You should definitely check Jawa Yezdi scrambler 2022 , if it realises ❤
The appeal loox wise is the nice smooth flowing lines. They are like a mini Indian motorbike.
“Like a Pro” 👍
The name 'Pérák' is the czech nickname for a motorbike Jawa, built in 1947 in Czechoslovakia, equipped with springs on the rear axle for the first time. Péro (CZ)= a spring (EN).
I like the old one.😍😍😍
You should try the moto Guzzi V7 if you haven't already. I guess it's similar to the Kawa in terms of feeling, expect you have twice the engine :)
Nice seeing Lithuania in your videos !
I need to find one locally. Back to UK now ☺️
@@tomboyabit it's worth it. I've looked long for a retro bike that also is big enough for long rides. The V7 850 is perfect for that. And with a long history too 😉
My grandpa had one of those where he was living in Poland.
Старі Яви класні, стильні, яскраві, мають свою особливу харизму🙂
Sound ❤
What a beautiful restored original Perak, only someone forgot to make paintjob on tank:-)
He mentioned that
Jawa 42 Bobber is also Launched in India... Another Bobber From Jawa
Excellent video young lady. Very beautiful country. Jawa would sell well in the USA.
@𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗠𝗘 @𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘆_𝗮_𝗯𝗶𝘁
I’ve been riding since 1956. Worked on loads of stuff over these many years. I’ve fallen in love all over again with the small displacement single cylinder bikes like the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Interceptors. Would like to ride the new BSA.
Unfortunately they dont because jawa india has rights only in india and border shareing countries bhut they are planning through BSA MOTORCYCLE because jawa owns BSA
Thanks for this review. Many in UK love to restore classic bikes. Have you reviewed classic British bikes? The British brands are still in production. There is nothing to beat the trob of a classic British bike such as triumph. The engine sound is music to your ears. How does Jawa compare with say Royal Enfield motorbikes?
The BSA is being launched in the UK, but many think it is too expensive compared to its competitors. Have you reviewed the new BSA motorcycle?
J...jawa in Australia, cool little ride
The bike in my profile photo is called a "Wombat"
Expecting the Review on Jawa 42 bobber..
Yes that's true Babe, I think The Brand of Jawa Perak will be accept by Indonesian People. For the example, I love Jawa, because My Ancient was from Jawa Serang, and I have so many brother from Jawa Solo, Jawa Semarang, Jawa Jogja, and even my First Presiden and My last Presiden also From Jawa ( Mr. Soekarno and Mr. Jokowi ). So I think The Brand of Jawa Perak will be Succes full just like The Brand of Harley Dudison in Indonesia.
Jawa and yezdi band is owned by an Indian vehicle manufacturing company, Mahindra.
Baka dito mag kaka Jowa na ako!
