Wow! What a transformation! You should be proud of your efforts. I hope you take plenty of time to enjoy the boat before diving back into more updates and repairs. It looks great!
You've done such a fantastic job!!! It's been a year now and we're happy you are the people we sold her to. I could never have done what you've done. We could imagine you cursing us occasionally but we're glad things are going well. All the best to you!

Cheeky. Stop bullying the fire extinguisher! I was born in 1989 and I still work! 🤣 I mirror what your surveyor said - much to do still but that boat would have been scrap soon enough had you not put so much work into it. Excellent work.
You are both doing an amazing job. Please allow me a proposal, what about a sun reflecting foil on your windows to no longer melt down like sitting in a greenhouse. Cheers Marc
@@DG3ACM-Marc thank you! We were thinking about it and wanna put blinds one day as we like everything being bright and will put them down only when the sun hits directly. On the water it's not that hot as at the land 🤗
@@YachtCityLife I'm a bit late on commenting, but you can get special window films that drastically reduce the heat coming through without darkening the window much. They reflect something like 90%+ of UV and infra red light while allowing most visible light through. Might be worth asking an expert what type of film they recommend and get it professionally installed as it can be a bit of a pain to do it cleanly.
Hi Folks, Keep up the good work and you will be rewarded with a reliable and solid live aboard house boat. My father bought a poorly maintained 22ft sport cruiser and sadly dad spent 2 years undoing all the maintenance issues and never got the full benefits of the vessel before he had to sell it. Shame on the previous owners for not maintaining the vessel see too much vessels of this calibre sit at the dock and never get used. You have to use these vessels on a regular basis and at least fire up the engines every week to prevent long term maintenance issues developing.
Spend the money where is necessary. If it will sink the boat (thru hulls, zincs, pumps, etc) use the absolute best you can get. Other stuff you can do whatever you want. Its your boat.
