People always think of the rolling stones when they think of how long a band has been around. The scorpion's are right there with them. And still rocking harder than ever.
Judas Priest still touring Arenas behind the new Album Invincible Shield at over 50 years of touring and making albums. Deep Purple yes, Black Sabbath hasn't toured since The End tour with Ozzy.
I became a fan late. As a teenager, my friend introduced me to Crazy World. I then got a greatest hits album and bought cds from the 90s. When I was scheduled to see them live for the first time 2 years ago, I finally listened to every song of theirs to prepare.
Animal Magnetism….hooked. The Zoo, Falling In Love, Don’t Make No Promises, etc…cassette after cassette, in my car, at home, parties, in the boat cruising down the river to the lake. Great memories for this 58 yr old! 🎸🤘
58 here too, and fan since Animal as well. Got to see them in '88 or so, got to talk to Rudolph on the phone when he visited a local radio station when I won tickets to their show.
Scorpions ist eine fantastische rock Gruppe. So viele Jahren schon existieren und immer und immer bessere Konzerte machen. Super, Grandioz.....Danke Klaus and Company.🎻💯🤟✌️👍
4 years after this album release, fall of freshman year in high school, wore this cassette out for a few weeks. One of the rare no song skip albums. Seen over 150 concerts, this was always on the bucket list, still hoping. I’m Leaving You all time fav Scorpions song.
@@maidenthe80sla That is incredible. Flights not bad for their last show in Vegas, and tix still avail. Hhmm. Missed them in 2017 in Toronto with megadeth. And missed the epic monsters of Rock tour in Buffalo in the summer of 88. My older brother went however. My first concert ever at 14 was 9 months after that show. (Metallica, Damaged Justice tour).
Saw these guys on the same night section 206 dead center. The Scorps were at their best. Frickin’ flawless. Flew in from AZ . Loved it so much going out next week to see them again. A great show! Cannot get enough of them. I have seen them of a dozen times in my lifetime. They never disappoint. They sound better than ever. Favorite song , I’m leaving you” . PERFECTION!
One of the best rock lead guitarist, Mathias Jabs and he's nowhere to be seen here ! ! Bummer ! ! Great video. Thank you for sharing this ! ! ! ! The Scorpions . . . . . conquered the world ! !
I was surprised to see scorps staying power to be on at least their second residency in las Vegas. I then looked up ticket prices for this Thursday. Only 51.00 for a decent seat. Best deal in Vegas. Thanks guys for keeping those tix affordable for us pions.😊
I've seen the scorpions at the 1983 us festival. And the one thing I noticed about their band compared to All of the. concerts I've been to you could feel their energy radiating from the stage. It was an amazing feeling.
Crossfire live.... FINALLY... there's so many songs that was never arely performed live in back catalogue so Scorpions can make the whole wourld tour out of it
The only reason I made it there is that I live in Vegas. But tickets here are so expensive. I thought, how many more opportunities will I have to see them? I had to go. I'm tempted to save up and go again later this month.
My brother and I saw the Scorpions in their first ever appearance in the U.S. back in 1979! Still have the ticket stub from the Scorpions, Blackfoot and Ted Nugent!! It was an Alex Cooley presents show at the OMNI 3:01 I in Atlanta, GA. This little German dude in high white boots said “hello, this is our first day in the US… we hope you like it…” and they ripped off 5 songs and for a third lead in band, they blew us away. We knew they would be big and later that year, we found a German copy of Virgin Killer, then came alive Drive and the rest is history! Saw them more than 40yrs later in Reno a couple years ago.
I wish I could've seen them in their prime. I saw them for the first time 2 years ago. They sounded great then. So I had to go again. I'm thinking of going again at the end of the month if I can afford it.
These guys are still amazing. Saw them on the Savage Amusement tour at the Monsters of Rock show in San Francisco. They were amazing. Would love to see them again.
I was there for the 5/4 show. We flew from NY to see it. Absolutely incredible show. I couldn't think of a better opening song btw. Still going stronger than ever. One of the best of the best for sure. We loved it!!!
I went again on 4/30 because his voice didn't sound as good, and the solos were harder to hear from this first show. On the second show, they sounded amazing(they still played good the first show... just a little off). And yes, I love that they opened the show with the full song of Coming Home.
Mikkey Dee - is a rock GOD.......an absolutely amazing performance.....any naysayers are just jealous nobodies....there is no other drummer more magnificent. And a humble fun man. What more could a rock fan ask for???? Went last night, going back May 1....with a better view....WOW........
He was impressive. Especially during Crossfire. It didn't sound as good on my video as it did live. I'm tempted to go again April 28 if I can afford it.
As a rock fan I could ask for Herman to be playing drums instead because he has a very specific style and sound that was a huge part of the Scorpions sound in general Mickey D's sounds nothing like Herman Rrabelle, and whoever that is playing bass sounds nothing like Francis either.
SET LIST for 4/11/24: Scorpions Planet Hollywood Las Vegas 1 Coming home 2 Gas in the Tank 3 make it real 4 zoo 5 coast to coast 6 Leaving you 7 crossfire 8 Bad Boys 9 Gtar solo/instrumental 10 send me an angel 11 Wind of change 12 tease me 13 peacemaker 14 same thrill 15 drum solo 16 blackout 17 BCN 18 SLY 19 Hurricane
To those who say "it's not worthy", just think that it gives people who regretted not seeing them before now have a chance to do that. The obvious loss of quality is the price they pay for not doing it before. 😉 I saw them in 1991 at their "Tease me, please me" tour. That was an awesome show!
My first big show ever was the World Wide Live tour in 1985... The Sullivan Arena, Anchorage, Alaska. Three weeks earlier (age 15) I was in bed with a girl and her dad walked in, found us and shot me in the chest. Almost died. All I could think about was getting out of the hospital before that concert... It was so good.
People always think of the rolling stones when they think of how long a band has been around. The scorpion's are right there with them. And still rocking harder than ever.
And deep purple and black sabbath too
Judas Priest still touring Arenas behind the new Album Invincible Shield at over 50 years of touring and making albums. Deep Purple yes, Black Sabbath hasn't toured since The End tour with Ozzy.
Well there was the Travelling Wilburys so, The Rolling Stones are now The Shriveled Willies!!
Let's hear it for scorpions in the stones🤘
I Love Scorpions! Best Band in the world. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.
Can't believe Klaus sounds that good at 75....Wow!!!!
More importantly, Jesus saves sinners! God bless you! Scorps rock
Very few still sounds that good. Pretty awesome!!
@@gregsimmons694 Sorry, not more important. lol
Uhh...because he's Blackie Lawless-ing it with some prerecorded help?
Klaus never quits
It was the best show for me for there 1st night in Vegas.. At 75 yrs old, his voice still amazing. ✌️🤟🤙 the band did great❤
I love that cold open...Klaus just strolling out there without a care in the world....
Mikkey Dee is absolutely killing it on the drums. The drive that guy has is unbelievable
The drumming was impressive that night...especially during Crossfire. I hope I have that kind of energy when I'm 60.
I guess he thinks that he still plays for motorhead.
Was Mickey Dee afraid of King diamond, because he was certainly no king!!!!!!
@@sayjustwordstomeVery well said! 😂👍🤘🔥
Years of playing with motorhead paid off.
So refreshing to actually hear the Coming Home intro
hearing crossfire live was such a treat
It was my favorite song of the night.
One of the best hard rock bands. When lovedrive came out I bought it and was hooked. Have seen them 8 times
I became a fan late. As a teenager, my friend introduced me to Crazy World. I then got a greatest hits album and bought cds from the 90s. When I was scheduled to see them live for the first time 2 years ago, I finally listened to every song of theirs to prepare.
Lovedrive is my fave, mainly because Michael Schenker is on it...
@@stonekeeper86 lovedrive was jabs debut. M schenker only played a couple solos on the album
@@robertprady885 Jabs barely played on Lovedrive...Blackout was Jabs real debut.
8 times?? How AWE-some!!(you bet I'm jealous!😉)

Klaus is wearing a jacket wit "RocknRoll forever" on the back...tribute to James Kottak (RIP), which he had tattooed on his back.
Wow nice to see this, Klaus meini is allready 76, but he still rocking on stage over his band it's great and incredible!
Unbelievable band! Absolutely love these guys! Klaus sounds fantastic!
Saw them years ago with crue, I was blown away. Now this, sound fantastic!!!! Way up there with best bands ever

He is great. I was just recording, and I wanted to try to focus on one area. And Mathias stayed all the way to the side.
I seen them twice in one week the show incredible
Scorpions were my first ever concert, may 9th 1984, St. Paul mn. Bon Jovi was the warm up band.
Nice!
Would have loved to be there! The issue is, it took more than a year from that date for me even to be born.
Seen that tour also.
Jealous! I remember all the kids in my middle school wearing Scorpions T-shirts the next day after they played that show.
Coolest of memories! Wow!!
I've seen this band 6 different times and they don't disappoint.
14:00 "Im leaving You", if you only want to hear the best song, this is it!
R.I.P James! They're doing pretty good!! And Klaus will be getting better moving on the shows... He had a back surgery!!!!
I saw the show on April 18. They were fantastic! I last saw them 40 years ago on the Love at First Sting tour and have loved them ever since
saw them twice this time..WOW.. they are the BEST!!
Fantastic to still see the scorpions putting on a top show for the fans. Saw them in the 80's .Wish they came to the uk more over the years.
