The song "Precious Lord" was written by Thomas Dorsey the "Father of Black Gospel Music." He wrote this song after his wife Nettie died while giving birth to their baby boy and his son died as well. He buried them together in the same casket. This song was born of out Thomas' grief and suffering. It captures the very essence of how Thomas Dorsey was feeling during his time of bereavement.

Lord help us to stand in unity in peace and love during these crucial times. Remove the hate in our hearts and replace it with love and acceptance of one another. I don't know what kind of "spirit ghost" he may or may not have caught, but in my experience, this is NOTHING like receiving the HOLY GHOST as it was spoken of in the Holy Writ in the book of Acts!! The disciples/apostles and many others including Jesus' mother, Mary, received it in the upper room and it is still being poured out today!!!! Jesus is still alive and working in many hearts, and when one totally sells out and gives up his own will, the power of God will make itself manifest in such a way as to leave NO DOUBT that it was a heavenly encounter, because when He fills you it is done in a way that no human can replicate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Discernment is important. Amen. On another matter Paul the Apostle in Timothy spoke to the Galatian Church in his epistle right there in the book of Galatians where he told them that they are observers of times, seasons and months(star stars) and that he fears them lest he has laboured in vain. Paul went on to say that he will remain with them until Christ is formed in them. My point is that we are all at different stages in our Christian walk, but we need to make sure that Christ is formed in us. Amen.
