My oldest son is a heavy weight wrestler in class 1A Iowa wrestling. This is his first year of wrestling His record is 28-11. And this is the hardest thing he has ever done in his life
Marvin McNutt should be considered also. He is “paying his dues” starting at the low level. Excellent interview. I am a Womens Basketball season ticket holder and don’t follow wrestling However, interviews like this help gain respect and appreciation for wrestlers. Laura, I thought you would comment on the little boy who stumped you at Carver!
I certainly could get behind Matt as WR coach. Listening to his break downs, especially very specific things related to WR are exactly what I would want to hear from a WR coach and for him to teach our WR's. Pointing out drops by Kaleb Brown and what he did wrong with his hands. That needs to be corrected by Kaleb Brown and you wonder why it wasn't addressed.
Great to see you doing off season shows. The Iowa State girls wrestling championship is currently going on right now.... lots of young women on the mat's! I think it is definitely growing among the younger generation. It was also interesting to see the Iowa Women wrestlers this year. The only team in the Big Ten is kind of disappointing.
I just did weight ins for a pee wee tournament last weekend at Louisa Muscatine. And the coaches were having the kids pee and number 2 both before weighing in
Bless you, guys. Want to hear from you every week. Sorry, but that is what success does for you.
Matt for WR Coach!! You heard it here first.
love your show and Matt’s input. have never been to Estellas but will be very soon.

This guy's a beast of an athlete.
One of the better looking coaches..................................and Matt is speechless!!
