I been looking at getting one of the 1974x and the price just dropped $1351 back into a more suitable and realistic selling price. Marshall has went way over the edge on covid princing. I just ordered one and hope I can make it sing like you are here. Really good jams.

Perfect demo! Love it when people run through the whole volume spectre

Thank you! That's the point especially on this amp, it has a huge dynamic range, and you can get some lovely distortions on high volume

The amp and the sunglasses and jam are all dope. I like the sunglasses. I do it to.

Marshall's 18-watt is a legend-pure, raw tube power at its best. I’ve read a ton about it and bought a Sound City Studio 20, as some say they’re similar. There’s a video on my channel if you’re interested! The cleans are nice, but the overdrive is where it truly excels. I’d love to get your thoughts on it!

I hope that HF oscillation is from how you recorded it...otherwise, really nice chops, bud! I built my 18W...$400. But I had to build the cab, head, have the plates made, and do the Tolex myself. Still, for $400...

Can you A/B the channels to get a 2 channel amp...?

Sounds good. $2500 good? Not sure on that one. What year is your Les Paul Custom?

Yes, expensive but quality 101%. It's a Nashville Custom Shop, maybe 2014, I don't know precisely.

Is the amp that noisy and whistly or is it recording noise?

Not having reverb or an effects loop really limits this wonderful amp. May be perfect for studio use for someone with a big budget.

I have no need for reverb or effects loops.

Why do you wear sunglasses at home?

Those pickups sound terrible from THIS end, they cannot be Gibson... Speakers do it no justice either, But, playing is great !

Sounds way to bright and thin on the neck humbucker. My 1974X has a lot more gain with my R8 Les Paul and real Marshall mids. Hey its a real plexi.
