People look at Billy like he is just a joker, but you can tell by the way Scott and the rest of the guys treat him that he is a great friend and always willing to lend a hand. Friends that want you to succeed and don't get jealous are hard to find. I for one hope Billy has great success in the Costa's, and I am sure Scott will do everything he can to help him out.

The beginning of this video shows what sportsmanship is all about. Winning should never get in the way of friendships or kindness towards fellow anglers. I am sure both anglers would have liked to have those fish to themselves but it didn't work out that way so you shake hands and get to fishing. Sets a good example for young anglers.
I am fortunate enough to live 22 minutes from Sam Rayburn and it’s a blessing. I love fishing there and I love the fish that the lake produces. My biggest bass from Rayburn was 10 pounds 6 ounces and I caught it on a swim jig by the rock wall. Amazing lake and really a cool experience to watch Scott Martin fish the lake you grew up on

Biggest fish I ever weighed in a tournament also came on Rayburn also in January. Not on a drop shot, but a shakey head. Was the first college tournament I ever did any good in. Glad to see all the high water didn’t stump all of y’all. Thanks for posting the vids man

I fish in the high school tournament fixing to go into Year 2 as a Sophomore. Caught a 15 lb. bag last year on my own, my partner caught none, on a jig. Sam Rayburn is my favorite lake.
There is no better feeling than hearing that boat engine early in the morning, on a first tournament. Love your vids keep it up.

Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Whisk eggs and water together in a bowl; set the egg wash aside.
Sprinkle the bass fillets on both sides with Cajun seasoning and lemon pepper. Dredge the fillets in flour, and shake off any excess. Dip the fillets in the egg wash, then dip fillets in the crushed potato chips.
Fry the fish in the preheated skillet until lightly browned, about 4 minutes per side. Serve with lemon wedges.

Did you forget to reset the drag after catching that first toad? You loosened it during the fight and when you were missing those fish afterwards you could hear the drag going.

I have been waiting for this video after seeing the live results of you getting big bass on day#1. I thought you have have been more excited or go a little Ike when you caught it. Keep up the work and glad the tournament videos are back.

One thing for sure Scott your drag was too loose, I use the same hook and I’m glad you did as well, but maybe also you were setting the hook and ripping the bait out of the fishes mouth, something to think about when you are mainly fishing for Largemouth Bass instead of Smallmouth Bass, also the gauge of the wire on the hook matters if you are using a 6lb line or 10lb line, and the Rod you are using, if it’s a Medium instead of Medium Heavy, or if it’s a Medium light instead of Medium, if it’s a Fast or an Extra fast, but I’m sure you know all this. Plus you are using different brand Rods and Reels and I guess it will take some time to get used to it, but they are Phenomenal looking those Favorite Rods and Reels 😁😎🙏🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍👍👍. I guess I just want to see you do good and even better during the tournaments, and when you win, us, people who are your viewers and Subscribers, we Win too, the ability to share an experience and see it work after all the hard work and research, and work great 👍 good luck 🍀 on all your tournaments and I hope you Win at least 2 or 3 tournaments this year and also get the angler or the year 😁🙏😎👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🎣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🥇🥇
