I mean they’re all true, there are very frustrating gameplay elements but he’s also really good and can still play well. League’s approach is “yeah that’s a really frustrating mechanic, but what if we added health scaling to this item?” Don’t really dix annoying low-skill-expression interactions, just tweaking numbers cause it takes way less development time.

It's all about stunning them with your passive. You can get some good early cheese kills in low elo.

He kinda right about the ult. In the last 50 sion games i don't remember using the ult like it's intended. Either I come back to lane faster or use in their face to insta knock up
Yeah perhaps it sounded for many people like another ranting by frustrated otp but he was kinda right. How basic ability can contain literal other champs Ultie like Skarner does or Hwei has Rumble’s ult in his basic kit. New champs or reworked champs are way too overloaded compared to outdated stuff like Sion or Rumble for example and they have to be reworked one day. I think there is many more but this is what i think about atm
@@OFIR_Kubson ok calling skarner E the same as sion ult is disingenuous. It has like 1/8th the range, can only hit one target, needs to knock the target INTO TERRAIN for it to not be useless, and doesn't do nearly the same damage. Sion go cover 2/3rds of the map with his R, do damage to turrets, knock up several people and do up to 1.2k damage to all of them.

I dont think I've ever hit a long range sion ult against anyone with half a brain. Late game, ulting into anyone with flash is just the worse decision.

Grounded e would be too strong. Should maybe make the q knock up faster, make q crit when fully charged or increase turning speed on r.
It would make Sion more braindead than it already is.
You could make it so max rank e grounds enemies, so if you want the consistency you have to forsake your busted hp scaling

@@sonluyenvan8652 How can he be a "Tank/bruiser" if he gets kited 24/7? So far every Tank/bruiser has some forum of mobility it's insane so at this point he's right. Sion is outdated. Anyone with half a brain can easily dodge the E/Q combo and even the ult specially considering every champ and their nan has some forum of mobility that doesn't require them to use ult. Sion's only pressure is he stomps towers other than that you can just ignore him in team fights and go straight for backline. The only reason why we see sion somewhat being "good" is because bauss makes him good.

Tell me you are low elo without telling me you are low elo lmao. Viego has negative wr in jng in emerald and above. His e is like a GPS on the map to know where he is, his w "dash" is like 2 Frames faster than walking and his "insane Auto attackspeed" is limited to a 5-3 sec cooldown. He has zero mobility besides his ult and if he doesnt get his passive up, he is super squishy, but yeah he is one of the most broken champs in the game clueless

There's three certainties in life: death, taxes, and baus claiming to set another item record in a sion video
These are what I think should be “buffs” to sion-
1. Hitting e grounds and slows the enemy
2. Sion goes into passive mode much quicker after death
3. The speed of sions ult determines size of hitbox(when slow, you can avoid easier and when fast, it’s easier to slam an enemy.

I've played Sion for 2.5k hours over the years. His ult should for sure have a large AOE if you go across the map with it. Sion is a gigantic monster both in game and in cinematics. Flashing two feet away from his point of impact shouldn't mean shit if they were standing ALL THE WAY DOWN A STRAIGHT LANE AFTER AN AUDIO CUE. The ground on his E is necessary idea as well. Make it ground 3/4 or 1/2 the time it slows. That way, you don't face enemies who are able to flash every single ability you have and make you useless. The balancing team has no idea how stupid it feels playing as this champ. I would eat a 50% nerf to W passive for either of the above changes.

Sion was meant and (re)made to be a tank, usually tanks want to *be* as near as possible to the enemy. That's why is meant to go in but not out.
Once he goes in with ult he's not going out and he also can't threaten the backline because his q is so insanely telegraphed
Playing sion as a tank is just praying your team can kill the enemy before your hp steroid (w) runs out.
There is no agency in playing sion
Even a tank doesn't usually want to dive into the backline, do no damage, and lose half their hp before their self cc even wears off. Missing ult in a team fight is really rough for any Sion build.
yeah thats kinda the problem, all the tanks with or without a way to get to the backlane atleast can apply cc, sion on the other hand cant, the q and r are so easy to doge and using those without any charge dont stun half the time of any tank generic stun, the think is that sion is from a death class of champions "battle tanks" (the youtuber vars explains it on a video) thats the reason why sion sometimes feels more like a juggernaut than a tank, the rest of the battle tanks already got semi-reworked Maoikai and Cho, well cho actually is a "specialist" but more than sure that when riot finally reworks hims he would become a more common tank
I definitely wish flash wasn't such a necessary and dominant summoner. But removing it would be stupid.

I think flash is cool. It’s the most skilled summ and it bridges the game between low mobility champs and high mobility champs.
But there could be more grounding and less slows/cc in the game. That would make everyone happy.
They can’t remove it because there is a lot of champs with a mobility spells and it would be unfair

I actually really like the idea of grounded on Sion's E. It would give Sion a way to actually compete with 200 years champions, while also not needing to rework Sion's entire kit.

Everytime in watch baus playing sion, i realize how hard he mastered this champ. Its so satisfying
I said long time ago that his E should ground after they nerfed his W detonation time, they nerfed his scaling on W from 13% to scalling with level skill, nerfed E damage when you shoot a unti with it, nerfed R scalling. There is too much mobility in the game 1000 dashes and it all started with introduction of Yasuo.
I always said the game went to shit when they added Yasuo. Since then it's been nothing but mobility creep and cringe/edgy champions for teenagers
whats the catch with axiom arc, when u die everytime u ult, so u are in death timer when ur ult is up ready again?
I mean the buffs to soul furnace make sense since you dont ever get anymore fun 50+ minute games. All you get now is laning phase and 5 minutes until someone surrenders.

I miss S10 Sion. That was the season before the item rework. When sunfire procked extra dmg on CC and titanic was insane on him. Plus glacial augment slowed them on auto attack, setting up Qs and passive beautifully. Ahhhh the good times!

I will say, armor shred on Sion has always felt really weird, if they replaced that with 2.5 seconds of grounded it would definitely mesh with his kit way better and make him less OP vs slow champs and useless vs dash and flash abusers

Maybe a real balanced change would be for Sion's E to root the enemy target if he's slowed. That way sion would have a reliable CC in case the target flashed the ult
You can consistently completely ruin Pyke with flashing his ult, and you can flash his entire combo too. Flashing any one of pyke's abilities makes him unable to oneshot anyone.
As a pyke player I’d rather just play for the team. I usually wait for my adc to get the enemy low or just for the enemy in general get low to ult rather than trying to carry and put myself in bad positions. Plus you can just play for bushes and vision so they never know where you are. But facts 🤝

Okay but the difference between a Sion Ult that can go through walls and Skarner E is that Skarner E can be instantly QSS'd so its totally balanced.
Oh and another difference is the fact that Sion Ult makes a sound that can be heared on the entire map, basically warning the enemy. And that Sion Ult costs more mana. And has more cooldown. And cannot be unlocked until level 6.
Yes, and I wish Swain got damage% resistance along his passive (Like getting 1% damage resistance every 10 stacks of his passive, because the heal from his ultimate is ridiculously low these days)
You can tell that Darius was so nervous in the laning phase, with his terrible flashes and missing every ability. I’m sure he’s a big fan!
God damn making e ground is such a good idea I would really love that. It is so frustrating how many champs in this game can just dash away from your q or ult, it just makes sion not want to charge his q and only use it as an aa reset.
sion changes:
- Q makes you unstoppable so people have to move out of the area rather than just CC you (sion Q has a smaller area than aatrox W and people consistently walk out of aatrox W so dont say this is OP)
- W nerfed to 1-2 hp per minion
- E makes target grounded
- make Death Surge into old prowler's active (this one is just funny it probably would be busted to have prowler's in sion passive at lvl1, more reasonable suggestion is to make sion's ult into prowler's active when it is used during passive)

That’s how all my games go. I do really good and carry and end up losing because my team mates are absolutely worthless except for maybe 1 person on my team but we can’t carry hard enough
The problem isn't that Flash exists, it's that it's a summoner spell. In that system it's just incredibly objectively broken. They need to make it it's own thing that just everyone has - which also opens up more room for cooler summoner spell combos. And since Flash would be it's own thing, it could work slightly differently - like having it's cooldown be globally tracked, so you would also know if someone has it or not.

BABUS, please bust out PTA Blitz Top. Laning phase is always losing, but if you rush Triforce and Manamune, you can dish out enough damage that it catches the enemy off guard. Manamune is good for your ult and passive mana scaling.

They should make it so that Sion E only roots/grounds if he pushes a unit through an enemy champion. If the E rooted/grounded without that it would be broken
get second activation of ult. If you do not crash first activation you have 1 second CD and 5 second expiration and you can activate your ult again. This will allow you to get out of ult, auto once/combo once and then use ulty again if you missed/they dodged the first one
What about Sion Q making him "Unstoppable"? Like Ornn W, that you can't CC him out of it, but you HAVE to dodge
Because realistically, atleast with your ult, the "E == Grounded" Change wouldn't do much, no?
The problem with AD Sion is that if you are the only one ahead, the game is pretty much lost if your team can't even stale

You can mute emotes by hitting the mute emote button in the scoreboard. You can mute joke/laugh/dance by full muting a person instead.

I suppose getting all the turrets soaks up most of the resources of the team so the entire game hangs on him doing well in teamfights. If he messes up the teamfight, his team will have serious issues.
Making e targets grounded guaranteed them taking 700 damage with almost no counterplay and it is also a fast moving skillshot.
What abt giving an aura when he ulting like fear or something.They can still flash but it will increase the chance of hitting the ulti I guess.
they should actually make it so if you sion E a minion into an enemy champ it stuns them for a second. i feel like thats what it should have done the whole time.

Holy shit, making enemies grounded with E makes so much sense. Sion, the noxian goliath, roars at you, you are slowed for 20-25-30-35-40% and grounded for the duration. 1.5-1.75-2-2.25-2.5 seconds. Will force assassin sion to prio E over W. But would make tank sion GIGA broken
Edit: Sion does need a buff in exchange for less bonus hp on W. 10k sion with 400 ad aint fun to play against.
Sion E - grounding champions would be a stun at that point, since it already slows the champions.
RUclips videos: Sion is OP -> Sion trash -> Sion is back -> actually it's still trash -> Sion tank is free LP -> Sion is unplayable at the moment, especially tank.
This is just a 1 week cycle of youtube videos, kinda gets old
