For people trying to install Teams by double clicking: Before trying to double click update app installer: apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nblggh4nns1?hl=en-us&gl=US and after update the installation should work fine.
Is there a per-user install available like on Teams Classic? (I do NOT want machine wide install, as well, do NOT want it to install for every user who logs in).
@@LetsDoAutomationwindows is becoming more and more like Linux, I just don't want to write a command prompt i just want to download and install and go about my business. Yes I spend all day now to install the new teams, because i got a notifification that old teams won't work after a month. I went to the page downloaded .msix file, i clicked on it nothing happened, so thats how I landed here. But I got it fixed now Add-AppxPackage -Path .\Downloads\MSTeams-x64.msix did the trick, thank you!
Ah then this video was not the best solution. To install teams msix via double click you need to update 'app installer' from microsoft store and yeah its a bit confusing, but i guess it will get better when windows starts shipping with newer app installer version.
