My opinion is no one gets the right to judge how she felt. It’s just how she felt. She was with him before his career took off and supported him throughout the game. They were young when they met, so what she felt in her 20’s could be different than what she felt in her 50’s. Maybe what she thought was love then is not what she learned love is in her 2nd marriage. People are hurt for shaq but where was that energy for her when he was stepping out on the marriage. Maybe as her standards rose in how she treated herself, her standards rose in how she accepted relationships. I admire her truth and I admire him taking accountability in knowing what some don’t learn. Don’t lose the one that has your back.

And have a few guy friends that say they didn't marry out of love, but that's the only kind of marriage that I ever wanted. I can help myself and take care of myself otherwise. You wanna partner with all of those good qualities, But in this day and age when people are not getting married out of necessity, I definitely want it to be for love.
