It's scenes like this one between Rick & Laura that make me so MADD about how they twisted their relationship in 2002.. Did the writers even take the time to go back and watch any of the history? Any of their interactions as father & daughter? If they had - they would have figured out that the fans would NEVER accept the CRAP story then turned out!

Either you watched GH in afternoon or you were outta luck! SO many people ditched school for Luke & Laura's wedding, they may as well have declared a holiday. 😄
Here is my story. Rick of 2002 was fake for sure only the Cassadines sent the imposter to ruin Luke & Laura's wedding and Scotty was just a victim of circumstance, brainwashed to remember what they wanted him to THINK happened! The real Rick is actually being held prisoner just like he was when he was in Africa all those years ago. He longs for the day he is found so he can come back to Lesley :)

Ok, after listening fully awake, I should've known this last night really, the song in question playing when Luke and Alex are dancing at around the 17:15 mark is "I'm Ready" by Kano.
Understand, The regime in charge during the 2002 storyline cared NOTHING about GH history or what the fans wanted. There was a big push by the network to kill the soaps. In order to accomplish that, the mass destruction of characters, relationships, and history was done. GH was VERY close to being cancelled in 2012 when the current regime took over. If it were not for the, reaching back to some of the history, GH would be off the air. Back in 2002, the people in charge gave no cares to the fact the the Webber family was a beloved group and fan favorites. It really was the beginning of a decade of mayhem and foolishness behind the scenes and many casualties in screen.
I just found this comment. So are we thinking that maybe some of TG's comments about not "loving the romantic parts with Luke and Laura" and thinking Luke and Tracey are "GREAT together" is just TG "adapting"? I surely hope so.
I think it's been intimated by sources behind the scenes that somewhere along the way, TG and GF had a hell of a personal falling out. True? Who knows?
