- I am STARTING OVER in Minecraft Superflat Survival... but this time in HARDCORE! Can I summon the spirits of Philza and WadZee in order to face this insane challenge? Will 10 years of PRO superflat experience be enough to overcome my noob skills? Can I beat the Ender Dragon in Superflat Hardcore?

Nowadays it's a standard to beat the game in one video. Back in the day i remember there was always atleast 10 episodes before killing the ender dragon. I'm not complaining. It's just fascinating how this game developed and how the bar moved up.

@@emeraldsreacts9662 I always kill the ender dragon in a few weeks (days) of playing (I play for inconstistent amount of time, sometimes less sometimes more, sometimes much much more)
One major reason is elytra I think, at least in lets play worlds. Before the only reason to beat the game was for enderman XP farms, but most people just used skelly spawners instead because still needed bones. Now elytra are a thing, people want it fast.
It's fascinating seeing how the standard has changed the things that used to be impressive are now just normal
Hey if you didn't know, the Warped Forest biome (blue forest biome) in the Nether is the best place for Enderman to spawn. So you could have stayed in the Nether a bit longer. :D
And it is the safest biom in the nether so ...

but the flat overworld makes enderman farming literally easier than crimsoning

This is super useful for the new viewers who need help on the early game of a new world
if a new player plays the game the first thing they are gonna do is not play in a superflat world and play in a regular world

@@GhostedMemes i mean everything is kind of obvious except for the strongholds but you can just use ender eyes for that (for someone that has actually played the game)

Do you think you could do a full series of this? If not, I truly understand. It's heart racing and gut wrenching when your hearts start depleting in hardcore.

I’d say make it a mini series constructing a sky base around the stronghold, and using the end as a place for farms feels like it could be different kind of take on the super flat experience. Great video loved the presentation keep up the great stuff

@@Mogswamp You always say they only spawn in 1.17? But I remember playing (custom, with y=41, waterlevel=40) in 1.8 and I also had strongholds.

I love how old school you are that your excitement and fear is so palpable. For most of us the end dragon fight is still a super scary thing. Most Minecraft RUclipsrs now treat it like it’s a walk in the park cause they’ve done it so many times, but your average Jane like me is terrified of it.

Hi there, Eric! I had a cool idea for what Mojang could do to bring some unobtainables to the game that I wanted to share. Essentially, to remove the biome completely from Superflat. Instead of Plains, this would just be empty (or some made-up biome) that encompasses all of them. This could bring back axolotls, squid, rabbits, fishing for bamboo, witch huts (effectively for redstone farms), etc. Possibly this could also let slimes only spawn at night as if in a swamp biome but I doubt this brings the same challenging feel to getting started, as one could just sleep and ignore them. I could list everything, but you pretty much already have. This also feels as vanilla as possible to me, as they have already nerfed slime spawns for Superflat specifically, so its not like they wouldn't make a fix that only affects us. One final thanks also for being so in touch with your community (enough so to read this comment at least) and I'm looking forward to the next episode!
P.S. I don't know when its weird or not to call RUclipsrs by their first names... tell me if it is haha.

bro the video was really funny and I love the editing, but you seem really anxious in close situations. Maybe try pvp servers for a few weeks so you get more comfortable with mobs or close calls

Not as entertaining for a video but for anyone that want to beat the dragon another way to gear up would be to trade with villagers, farm potatoes and carrots and hay and sell it to the farmer for emeralds, then level up an armorer for a full set of enchanted diamond armor, a tool Smith for diamond pickaxe and a weapon Smith for diamond swords, placing them in a boat and turning them to zombie villagers to cure them with a witches weakness potion and a golden Apple will get most trades down to 1 emerald for 1 item and viceversa, kinda op, also there's an iron farm which can be built on day 1 the design is by ianxo4 iron ingots can also be traded for emeralds for leveling up the villagers
