I love how many parts of this album feel like they're in odd time signatures, even if they're not.
Helmut was my music teacher in school when I was like 13.
He showed me the first basic things to practice on the drums. Now I play drums for more than 12 years. l owe him a lot. Thank you!
Ich suche schon lange eine Möglichkeit, das Geburtsdatum von Helmut Pohl zu erfahren. Er war ja Drummer bei Creepy John Thomas und seine Fusstrommel bei Down in the Bottom war sehr ähnlich der von John Bonham bei Good Times Bad Times. Sehr beeindruckend. Hast Du noch Kontakt zu ihm?

This band wasn't well known for obvious reasons. The songs were really experimental. Going from basic Hard Rock to Electronica at odd places in the songs, it's all good, but not for everyone

this is fucking whitehot proto hard rock aka underground music... that reference term which was forbidden to mention in the tight arsed school system i unfortunately found myself late sixties early seventies but of which this genre music was revolutionary in inspiration against.... to a lot of young folk baader meinhof had set the motion

Great to finally discover a band called Gomorrah. So much attention has been given to Sodom, songs by bands etc. Of course the semi famous German Thrash Metal band, and Venom - 1000 Days in Sodom are probably the most obvious examples. There are many more Metal songs that are focused on Sodom. Other than the WASP song King of Sodom and Gomorrah I can't think of any other mention of Gomorrah until now. It seems that I've discovered them 50 years past their arrival

Тогда заслушивались Deep Purple, Nazareth, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd и т.д.
Но эта музыка сильнее, глубже, креативней и интереснее.
Похоже на ощущения после прослушивания группы CAN, которую узнал только в 90х.
Не нужно сравнивать прог и ту трескотню, которая всегда в чартах. И у нас были любители. Растаскивали Кинг Кримсон, Гоморру, Крим, Многих групп вообще названия не знали. Перезаписывали и затирали до дыр, потом передавали друг-другу в коробках от других катушек с подписью "Slade" или там "Sweet".

Got this for a song many years ago and was instantly impressed . Good heavy prog from the prolific German rock scene of the early '70's . Check out their other album "Trauma" if you like this .
