    No I think you’re right every time a new guy comes on heartland you know the writers are going to try and hook Amy up. They need some how to bring Ty back. Amy needs Ty and Lyndy needs her Daddy. That’s the only thing that will help heartland

    Since season 15 started, Amy is less into horses and more focused into men . I agree with you 💯 when it comes to Ty. Its like Amy is trying to erase Ty from their daughter's memories. I stopped watching the show due to all the things you just mentioned

      Well put Karen. I am from the filming area and can tell you it's nice to have a actor reside in your community but she is acting a part that does not represent the fine people of the surrounding area. Many many have stopped watching like you for same reasons. Yes just a show but we all want realism the best they can and Amber's role as Amy is not what the people of the area are pleased to see. That is why I have said time and time again Heartland has turned into a soap opera and acting has followed as we see in soaps! Discusting!! Not a family show as we see it!! No room for a soap in a family show!! Last season for sure and they know it! Fan base is away down and more will stop watching with the continued direction they appear to be going!! Just saying from beautiful foothills of Alberta 🇨🇦🤠🐎.

    I don't like that the writers never have Amy talk to Lindy about her dad. You would think the girl would like to know what her dad was like. If you remember she was standung in the background when he dropped over. Then in the next season,it goes to a year later. Amy might have told Lindy then,but you don't get to see it. I haven't finished season 17 yet,but i hope season 18 has a bit more comedy in it. The show has lost it's humor since Ty left.

    I agree, 100% with you lady.She needed focus on her career and her daughter, not Nathan.Or ordinary man, if they want to bring tie back.All the fans be happy but quit putting her with any man.A miss of a 14 year love story.It's not

    To invigorate this series, they should stop leaning away from Amy with Lyndy and lean much more into it. Essenctially, we are now close to a point where Amy should be taking Marion's place and Lyndy should be taking Amy's place in the mother/daughter relationship at the root of the series.

    • @Ty-ty8ty
      @Ty-ty8ty Месяц назад +1

      I too like that thinking! Would also add in real life majority of parents , when they lost there partner who they loved so much would ensure there daughter would know everything about in this case there father and what a great dad he was. One thing that bothered me was Amy's holding onto that Miracle Girl saddle, bringing it out, putting it on Ty's horse and then giving Lyndy a ride on it! That saddle was at a time when Amy in most people's eyes should have lost Ty for what she did! She also indicated to Lou she returned all the gifts! Another of many lies by Amy! Just couldn't see a need for that saddle scene especially how it effected Ty! But ya I am with you on the time to finish off Heartland with Amy/Marion & Lyndy/ the up and coming Amy! Just makes sense ! Thank-you from beautiful foothills of Alberta 🇨🇦🤠🐎

    Nita I agree with you and would add that the success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story.....it was powerful, inspiring and heartfelt and is unlikely to ever be duplicated again certainly not with Nathan or anyone else...you would think the writers would mention Ty more because many fans continue to watch the series for any references to the Amy and Ty love story. Their love story ocurred over a 14 year period and can't easily be erased by the writers no matter how much they try to ignore Ty's impact on the show and more importantly on the fans.

He is just cry baby who wanna finish his story and Tim in the last season all he do just give advice to everyone.

    It could be that going into season 18 the actor pool, available actors don’t want to invest into a long running series as it could end at anytime. The writers need then to adjust to those who may have jumped off. A early jumper was Ashley, actors need security in work and it is a hard business to keep going. I think it’s a challenge to get the original sparkling back with revolving doors of the actors. Caleb has been in Heartland longer than Peter, Scott, Ty, Malory, etc…Caleb started in season 2 and has been stable anchor. If the writers are pushing the across out then Heartland has a problem going forward. We all change in real life but not as fast as Heartland. My big question is when and IF Heartland ends what will be the future of Marshall’s Country Store? This again would be depending on what Amber does as an actor beyond Heartland.

    • @Ty-ty8ty
      @Ty-ty8ty Месяц назад +4

      The Country Store is one main reason Amber is pushing for more seasons!! She knows it's dead without Heartland. It really isn't that big of a store and is in a small community. On line orders are the big thing with the store. Sure visitors pass through but not near what occurs on line. Cindy Busby (Ashley is focused on Hallmark movies and enjoying what she is doing! It really is time for Heartland to pack it in. The current actors seem non interested after so many years. Some key ones will retire after this year or pursue other interests. No shame in ending a show that had 13 good years, 2 boring seasons and 2 outright ridiculous seasons. The core true Heartland fans would have sooner seen a happy Borden family ending, moving into there new home and having the wild horses roaming there property. This show was 90% about the Ty/Amy development from teenagers to adults and a family. That is what people tuned into every Sunday evening to watch! Not this garbage of Amy turning into a "Buckle Bunny" chasing every divorced guy and ones who are 7 years older than she is! Totally ridiculous what they have done to this once enjoyable family show! Just a soap opera now and there is no room for soapie's on a family show!!😡. Just saying from beautiful foothills of Alberta 🇨🇦🤠🐎

    She talks to Nathen about Ty. She even told Edwin about him. Lindy is at the point where she wants to do things on her own. What I don't understand it why Jack got mad at Jessica with the picture of him at the cemetery when he said he was having a privet moment with his late wife, when in season 4 he told List at the fishing cabin that he spread her ashes out there, not at the cemetery.

    I have been saying all along that Amy needs to be talking to Lyndy about her father. I am disappointed with the writers that they are not focused on this. They even moved Lyndy off of Harley (her dad's horse) on to a random horse. Amy talks about all these horses that have history with her mother she should realize how Lyndy need that connection of her father with Harley. Amy is a young woman and being human needs the companionship of the opposite sex. This is a natural progression, I just hope that they develop the relationship over a minimum of two more seasons so she(and we) get a greater bond and know who this person is. Now the issue with Fred Garland is of his own making. He was always talking about how they were a Family own company, it looks as if he got greedy and went public, always for $$$. He found out what happens when you allow big corporations to get involved with your Family owned business.

    I haven’t seen all of season 17, but I agree with you that Ty is being completely removed from Heartland, even though he gave his life to save Amy! I feel that the show now is all about a man for Amy and Ty is completely cut out of the family’s lives. Lyndy has no place, like a headstone to sit and talk to her dad that loved her so much and Amy now only thinks about other men. When Lyndy started kindergarten Amy talked to Ty’s spirit looking at the moon of how proud he would be of Lyndy! When Lyndy started first grade all she could think about was Finn, so sad no Ty you would be proud of her 😢😢

    You would think she would bury herself into her daughter and the horses for comfort. I swear they dress her and Lou more maternally and they act so old. We all know they are older, but they have lost who they are. Its all kind of boring,but I still love watching it!

    I do not think Amy is chasing men. Certainly not Caleb unless that happens towards the end of season 17. Amy rejected Caleb's advances. I think she is open to a new relationship as a young widow. We had two seasons of mourning Ty that were depressing. As a widow, I understand that after 4 years as a young widow and single mother, that some male attention might be desired. We all have to mourn and then move on. I'm sure there will be conversations between Amy and Lyndy about Ty as she grows up. The whole Garland Foods and Fred thing was weird. Hopefully, Heartland Beef will rebound in the coming seasons or perhaps a merger with Pryce if Amy Nathan form a relationship of the lasting kind. I'd like to see Nathan and Amy together. Finn and Amy were good together if Robert, who played Finn, hadn't died in real life. I thought the plot adjustment was done well and believably.

Also I don't think there are beening cold I think they have learn that there is more in life that has to be accepted. Plus it's a 1 hour show you can't cover everything u would like to see.
