I have the genuine leather KJV Charles Stanley Life Principles Bible. I like it because it's KJV, large print, and thumb indexed. It's a nice size too for Bible reading. I disagree with much of his doctrine (ie speaking in tongues) but even if you don't use his notes, it's a nice readable KJV...very well made. It would make a great Bible to take to church, it's not too big, just the right size. I think I paid $112 for it on Christianbook and it retails for 175.
I have the NASB hardcover & just ordered the NKJV leather one when I caught it on a Bible close out sale at Christian Books. I’m a Bapticostal, lol. He has a lot of sound theology, even if I don’t agree with him about tongues. 🔥 I speak in tongues. 🔥
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa Where I differ with A/G doctrine is that I don’t believe that tongues 🔥 is the initial evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. There are many gifts, not just that one. I did love how the A/G church I was a longtime member of did everything decently & in order, like the Bible directs. It’s unfortunate that Pentecostals all get lumped into the same basket & labeled as heretics.
If you had to choose between the Spurgeon Study Bible and the Life Principles by Charles Stanley which would you choose? Thanks for your wonderful content.

Great Review! This looks like a great Bible to have especially because it is Large Print. I have the 1st edition of the Charles Stanley Life Principles Bible (NKJV) hardcover, the (NIV) in the beautiful teal & black - ©2017- LeatherLike, and the 2nd Edition (NASB) in black leather. I really did and do enjoy Charles Stanley and his Teachings. His Bibles are worthy of having for Study in any Translation. Really had to have them for my Bible Collection! Enjoyed your Review of the KJV Translation Pastor. ❤

I think MacArthur still uses the NASB, because he designed the so-called "Assault Bible" (Preacher's Bible) which is a NASB95.
