DJing or so called djing/playing music is only half the battle. You can't make a living from playing records at your friends "underground" You have to be putting music out and getting booked outside of you hometown or state. Then you gotta do that all year round in clubs all over the world and your still just getting by. DJing aspect of it is not even half of it. Then you gotta develop your own sound thru production and djing and most of all you gotta know how to work the music and work the crowd and take them on emotional rollercoasters and stories. The throwing events part is a whole nother story. Good luck your crowd looks young good perfect for the influence... cheers
I hear that about love, I always did for the love but heres a sad reality. If your poor how can you do anything? It takes money to buy gas to go hang out with people who have gear. It takes money to go out to events even if your getting in for free to every event. It takes money one way or another and therefore unless your born into a family that can give you the resources you need and or resort to maybe moving a little bit of anything that is against the law how can you do anything? And if you have Ideas and want to push it push the entire world because you want to be game changing you have to get paid and you have to be making money so you can support yourself to be able to become profound. I'm just saying , its ok to dj for free and for the love locally but if your serious about loving the music on another level then you need to make music, put it out on your label or other labels to be able to get booked out of the country to make the money to support your craft.. But if your cool with nurturing the music and scene locally which is also needed thats cool to.... I don't want anyone to think i'm downing djing for free at your crews events.. not at all cuz its dope for someone to come in from out of town and step into a dope ass event and the scene is dope and healthy and you can rock 500 to 5000 people thats dope.. and it takes people and groups to nurture that into existence.... I have love for all this... Continue doing it . I am happy for that and this is what is needed... respect!
I was going to raves in DC in the 90's. Buzz, Half Street Club, H20, Tracks etc. Lot's of underground "parties" in small bars on the week nights too in DC. THIS video is as close to what I remember it was! Don't let the thugs and dirtbags from the ghetto in......they will ruin your scene. yUP.
not many raves at Tracks although Tracks was great on Thursdays. More half street club, buzz and some crazy underground basement parties over on connecticut ave and NE etc during the weekdays, lots of E. Those days were great, yes :) . @@smudoshi
not if that is a region thing but i would not call that hard techno here in EU. Never thought they would play that sound over there in the Us . Or it is not that very popular there ?
It's definitely not hard techno but maybe he didn't know of a simple title to name his video. Electronic music is definitely popular in the US. Not mainstream though unless you're talking about shitty "EDM".
Ha yup 1 step away from NIN Wish video😸 although good to see that boi actually mixing by ear on decks no controllers 💯 and tack selections sound solid so far 👌
just found your channel.... youtube been hiding you ??? lol Great video... love the music and the Hot chics.. lol Tell the girls Smokings bad for em... hehe
Rave culture is definitely different in America than it is in Europe (as someone who has raved in both). I think the rave scene in the United States is replacing the nightclub scene so the American crowds have a different feel to them. In Europe, I'd say most ravers enjoy being anonymous and not bringing attention to themselves.
When does the blood come from the sprinklers and Wesley snipes turn up

I mean I hear ya but if you’re just doing it for the love then i see no problem with it .
