All the "tris" look designed after kodamas, forest spirits from Japanese folklore. They appear in Princess Mononoke as well as Shin Megami Tensei and Persona. Loved this series and I love your personality! Thank you for bringing it to us
I am absolutely *obsessed* with Tri's lullaby. I'm a composer, and the lil cadence in her melody has dragged me to it so hard I'm even using it in my latest piece. After I beat the game and wiped away my tears I went straight to RUclips to listen to the lullaby again, and then played it on the piano.
Your being a composer and getting attacked in the feels by this music solidifies my love for it too, they really made magic with the soundtrack for this game aagH
The fact that you never figured out that you could pull the arms out for Bread to instantly destroy with a spin attack was a bit painful, but it was so Gato that I could not be upset in the slightest hahaha! I'm so happy to have gotten to follow you on yet another Zelda journey~! I'm really anxious for you to play Wind Waker since I know some of your reactions will be golden (and also cuz it's my favourite Zelda game but whateveeeeer) but I will be patient and look forward to all your upcoming play throughs~!
LOL oh boy, of course there'd be something I miss, not to mention something cool that involves Bread! Regardless, I'm glad to have had you along for another adventure
@@rayrayg9 I'd say we just solve things differently rather than being "bad" at the game; EoW shined because of the way there were so many ways to reach our objective. I get feeling dejected though, if only because you miss seeing cool animations and such :'D
@@rayrayg9 Nah, that has nothing to do with skill, I'm sure you figured out some other cool way for doing it! You should try it on your next play through though! It's really need to feel like you and Link are really working together and I got to shout at him when he was slow getting to the arm I was pulling hahaha~
That ending is so bitter sweet. I am curious though, what link had to say at the end though. Anyway, that was a fun let‘s play and I‘m exited for the OOT playthrough.
This was beautiful to watch! The music was fantastic as usual and you took the words out of my mouth! How they take old music and integrated into new music. This was so much fun to watch you play and I can't wait for the next Zelda game you play^^
Thanks for the playthrough, always a treat! You're so right about the music, it's definitely one of the strong points of the Zelda series. Fighting alongside other protagonist characters is such a cool concept too. ALSO, I'm glad we find out Condé's brother returns, I was lowkey worried he wasn't coming back.
I find it very funny how Link, the silent protagonist, finally gets to speak in the end cutscene, but because the entire scene is dialogue-less, he is still silent
Thank you! I also begin to hate songs I use as alarms! I now switch ti a different song when I feel the first tiny prickle of irritation, and that has largely solved the problem.
the ending is so sweet omg :')))) i can't wait to watch you play ocarina of time holy AAAA it's my favourite zelda game and has been since i was a kid!! i hope you enjoy it i'm so excited
The final boss fight is one of my favorites, My strategy was Pulling Null's arms so Link could strike them while i get an echo out as a distraction. So amazing how many ways you can beat the final boss.
I’m excited to see ocarina of time next! After you finish that it’d also be super cool if you played wind waker if you haven’t yet, it’s one of my favorite Zelda games and it’d be really cool to see someone else play it
I've kept Wind Waker off for a while as I know a lot of the story via watching a playthrough before I started the channel, but I'll eventually get to it. There's nothing like experiencing the game yourself, thankfully!
The Deku Tree might be the wisest but bad eyesight gets to us all no shame in it LMAO The finale made me feel warm inside and what a great series, thank you :]
Oh hey, what timing. I just finished the previous episode. This gon b gud edit: 16:04 I fully expected "on the brink of solving everythink" for some reason
I love how Null was literally "Nothing, but everything". He's the embodiment of nothingness, but also transformed into everything from Cat to Ganon as it suited his needs. Now the question is if it's Ocarina of Time OG/OG-port or if it's Ocarina of Time 3D? I have to say the 3D games' QoL are super compelling. The input lag alone deterred me from the OGs. Xp
Heya Gato!! I definitely think you should try out A Link Between Worlds at some point. I think you would have a lot of fun with that one especially since you can technically do dungeons in any order. But I am absolutely looking forward to Ocarina of Time, it felt fitting for that one to be next considering you played Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess already.
Yay, Link is rescued and Null is defeated....oh wait, Tri has to go. Zelda now knows what Twilight Princess Link felt when he had to say goodbye to Midna.
RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I love echoes of swisdom the legend of link wisdom of echoes AND LINKUS IS SO AUGHGHHGHGHGHG *dies* Every time Link nodded and ran off I was just like: "GOSH DANG IT NO DON'T ABANDON ME AGAIN AUGH" your editing when you said 'she's right behind you guys' was perfect
So, headcanon time: maybe "Null" (as a conscious being) was born from everything that tried _and failed_ to take shape primordially. (Spoiler alert - compare Dark Matter from Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon) And THIS is what put Null in active opposition to the creation of the world. Without that, Null would more likely just be oblivious/indifferent to it.

Thanking Nintendo for giving Condé a happy ending 🙏

@@Gaming_Gato composer can confirm, Nintendo/Grezzo know what they're doing with their feels attacks
You know tri and their friends worked tirelessly to fix rifts hope they have a wonderful time sleeping

A king who knows what his people want, truly!

My point was actually that this game is so mad bonkers with so many ways to use the mechanics ✌😅
That ending is so bitter sweet.
I am curious though, what link had to say at the end though.
Anyway, that was a fun let‘s play and I‘m exited for the OOT playthrough.
He was talking about aerosols and the ozone, I think
28:50 when I defeated null with my family watching my mum full on cried during this part
It was an emotional end for sure!
Ive loved your playthrough of Echoes of Wisdom! I adored this game so much!
Such a great video series, Gato! It was the one that brought me to your channel. :) I can’t wait for Ocarina of Time next! :D
❤❤❤

I'm chuffed you enjoyed watching
AFAIK the orb thing isn't timed, it just takes all your echo meter, so any other echoes end up undoing orbs

oh man loved this series! I havnt been able to purchase this game at all so ive been living vicariously through your playthrough!
Ah geez I'm really glad you enjoyed it! ❤
A really underrated echo is the Moa, as it shoots lasers and can be used underwater
holy shit i didnt even notice there were little tris floating down the hole at the end there when i played it, good attention to detail!
When I played this final part I was so so excited to fight along side link! That was the cherry on top for me! 15:38
That was a huge highlight for me as well! Fighting alongside him was awesome
You're probably my new favorite RUclipsr, and your Okami series has inspired me to play that one. Looking forward to your progress on that!
maaaan, I'm gonna miss this series.
Can't wait for whatever's next though.
It's very funny to me how we beat the final boss the same way xD Loving the zelda videos!
I find it very funny how Link, the silent protagonist, finally gets to speak in the end cutscene, but because the entire scene is dialogue-less, he is still silent
And Zelda, as the protagonist this time, gets the mute treatment while Link is also conveniently muted by the plot xD
Thank you! I also begin to hate songs I use as alarms! I now switch ti a different song when I feel the first tiny prickle of irritation, and that has largely solved the problem.
That's the best plan honestly, just circulate and avoid feeling scorn for particular sounds haha
the ending is so sweet omg :'))))

so fun, really enjoyed this series! 🍾
I really like your bit of not knowing how to glide through updraft

It's not fun if you don't complicate things a bit fdghdgd

OH so that's why there were clown cars parked outside in the eternal forest
@@Gaming_Gato I forgot how to spell clones

Haha, he needs an optometrist rather than a barber xD glad you enjoyed it!
@Gaming_Gato both is the best option, just to make sure..you never know
After you finish the game you should be able to see how many echoes, might crystals and heart pieces you have left to collect 😁
