I think Varrick as character reminds me of King Bumi: someone funny and extravagant but thoughtful and very smart at the same time. And also, somehow completely disconnected from reality at the same time 😅
Probably would've went underground and attacked her from below. I imagine the plan was if she didn't end up failing when going into the avatar state, that she would've burrowed as the rock came down, made them think she was crushed for a moment, and assault from below, or escape altogether. Of course, she assumed Korra was weakened at the moment with all the information provided, she had the same intel Tenzin and all of them did, after all. But it ended up failing, so she didn't need to.
I enjoyed The Legend of Korra, but there are some things that I dislike about it: The Mako Love Triangle and Korra appearing weak. There are valid reasons as to why Korra looks weak when she fights people like Amon (a bloodbender who can take bending away, Vaatu (the actual devil), Zaheer (an elite assassin who poisoned her), and Kuvira (plus low mental health). I just wish Korra had more moments to show that she wasn't some scrub. Because when she is consistently getting her butt kick in the show, you now EXPECT her to lose against opponents.
She fought Vaatu almost equaly, what are you talking about? With Kuvira, this is also an incident, because she suffered from PTSD. There are so many moments when she fights and win, i just dont understand how people forget that(Just as they forget that Aang was running away from Ozai until Avatar state) In this series, we are shown that no battles or events remain without consequences.
I think bolin is not using lava bending to the full potential,if it was ghazan they wouldn't be able to hold him in that reeducation camps there were taking bolin to,also fighting those mechs would be easy work
Bolin and Varrick being bros is something we all didn’t know we need
OK Varrick is now at the 3rd place of the characters I really like in this show
Varrick is more than a comic relief now

Zhu Li playing 4D chess
Theyre such Kuvira haters but they simp for her deep down lol
Hella nah
If Korra repeatedly launched air at Kuvira [10:45] over and over and over again, what can Kuvira do? If Korra ONLY did that move, she would have won.

How about others besides the avatar can be skillful in the show instead of saying shes weak,
