- The Walking Dead Escape (2013) returns to Petco Park during Comic-Con for its second year. This video shows the ENTIRE course in HD POV and was filmed opening night July 19th. Experience the early days of the apocalypse. Climb, Crawl, Hide, Jump, Run and Slide your way through the Evac Zone. At the end of the course you either clear quarantine testing or join the undead!
The experience was a blast and we highly recommend it. There were Zombies everywhere and the obstacles were fun and different. The only obstacles I didn't enjoy were the crawling ones. (Bare knees on concrete is never fun) On the way through, I met a survivor named Derek. Together we braved the course and reached the end.

This looks fun but a few things kinda ruin it. The water breaks, the camera guys and other people standing next to the zombies and the fact that the zombies are so passive. :o
Well you kinda need the water breaks cause of all that running.
I agree with everything you said with exception of the water breaks. I just ran Tough Mudder this sunday and water breaks are so needed on obstacle course events. Run one and you'll see. Otherwise, you're spot on. The zombies should NOT be so passive. They are just for show. It would be better if they actually pursue you all the way to the next water break.

I'm glad you guys had fun! And I'm glad a lot of people recognized me as R. It is such a fun experience. I ran this last year and decided to be a Walker this year. It's quite a workout.

The Zombie Apocalypse really brings people together :) It was nice meeting someone on the course and teaming up to get through it together.

This is the Walking Dead escape. In the walking dead they do refer to them as Walkers so it is perfectly acceptable.

ours doesn’t even have any more than would’ve been it’s just an extra one forever and then it justified that i would get the other ones forgotten for being so much more fun to do than the one i have now that was a bit more complicated than existed

now that run was awesome! I liked the zombies that made it hard to get around. made you have to really think about how to get around them. The ones that made a effort for it to be harder would have been more fun to deal with :) happy to see you got that with some of them :)

This is so cool! This would be so fun to do. Sadly, I'll bet it's expensive as fuck. What I like is the makeup for the zombies, and how people work together and act like it's real. To me, this is where I can act like it's real and be SUPER nerdy. i tdo think there needs to be more first-person point of view videos on RUclips.

I think this is cool. But honestly it's not realistic. The zombies don't try hard to get you, and there is so much noise I can't imagine how it didn't attract walkers. Well this is my opinion, but other than the zombies this seems pretty awesome and I'd love to try it!
would of been awesome if there where zombies in the dark sections of the place like in the toilet doors and the zombies jump out and try catch you etc.
but really this is quite realistic to TWD slow moving, unintelligent so its quite awesome.

I think some people need to remember that people put so much into this and for people like YOU say things like THIS. Has there ever been a zombie apocalypse? Have you ever seen a zombie and do you know how they behave? The answer is NO. stop judging these people and there hard work and then say you wanna do it.
