MARILLION TO RELEASE THEIR LANDMARK PERFORMANCE “ALL ONE TONIGHT (LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL)” - WORLDWIDE IN STORES ON JULY 27TH 2018
On October 13, 2017, Marillion played at the Royal Albert Hall for the very first time. The concert was sold out in a split second and the audience, travelling from all over the world, was rewarded with an incredible Marillion show.
In two parts, “All One Tonight (Live At The Royal Albert Hall)” firstly showcases the band’s acclaimed 2016 studio album “F*** Everyone And Run (F E A R)” in full. Accompanied by an awe-inspiring light show and films, Marillion perform their incisive and era-defining zeitgeist with unparalleled passion and power.
The second half introduces In Praise Of Folly and guests, a string quartet with flute and French horn that throughout the rest of the show inject an extra depth and emotion to some of Marillion’s best-loved live material.

The Space... from Seasons End. The album where we found out what life after Fish was like. And this was at the end of it. The bit that made you play it again. I need to listen to this album again now!
Hearing you mention the Brave album. I've bought four copies of that! Two on tape, one given away to an ex girlfriend who I was trying to convince that Marillion were one of the greatest bands in the universe (ex... didn't work then!😅) and one sold when I no longer had a cassette player. One more bought on eBay which lives in the car and one decent copy bought from the Marillion website that lives in the house. You have to cover Brave... split it down into sides A and B? It'd be exhausting!

🤣re- the squawking, I'm convinced that the high notes H uses, are in the range of "sheer luck" particularly at the volumes he does! you would have to be a highly trained singer to even get close to what H does in most of his Marillion songs, I have a 'sounds tour' 2014 recording and there's a few moments of voice crack particularly in sunset town and TSE, however, he completely nailed 'Gaza'.
Above all I should add, H is probably one of the best singers I can think of and in particular his awareness of general vocal limits is profound, and I really appreciate his ability to exceed those limits practically every song, usually deliberately to perform for song itself. Absolute genius.
