I have been in the process of looking into patreon but I think I will go this route instead! Buzzsprout just keeps knocking it out of the park! I LOVE that you can use money earned to put towards your monthly buzzsprout bill, that's genius!!
Gazillion thanks for the subscription, I launched my podcast in 2018 and I was unable to monatize it and in Egypt I was unable to benefit from Apple Podcast subscription, but now I can do that via Buzzsprout. YOU'RE THE BEST.
Do listeners have to be listening on Buzzsprout to see this subscribe option? Our listeners are evenly distributed between Apple Podcasts and Spotify, so would the option not show up on those platform?
Just curious. Is there no possible way to create a subscription without monetary as a requirement? Im just thinking from a large financial services company position where they don't want to make money from it, but simply just build a community base.
Currently Buzzsprout Subscriptions is for podcasters to give their listeners an easy way to contribute to their podcast monetarily, but we love the idea! You can find additional information here: www.buzzsprout.com/help/184-faq-podcasters
Hi! Great initiative - thank you. Love your work. Just one thing - we're not based in the US so having to pay in US $ for the subs is a real disincentive for potential subscribers. They'd have to pay credit card fees and a potentially unattractive exchange rate. Any chance you could integrate a 'currency toggle' feature for major global currencies inc GBP (£)? Or maybe offer an annual sub alongside the monthly ones... Pretty please?! 🙏😀
Can I ask can both be set up or is it one or the other? I'd love to offer my regular listeners an opportunity to support the show but I'm also looking at sub-only content for my new book club
This looks exciting. I would start with the basic subscription option. I wonder what additional content I can offer my members? I also produce 2 episodes per week.
So we pay you a fee each month plus 15% of the subscriber fee. Podinbox only charges 5% of the subscription or free if you go on a plan. This percentage is really high.
Perhaps I missed it, but is there a way for someone to make a *one-time donation, versus a recurring donation? I would hate for listeners to have to go through a second step of canceling, so they can *just make a one-time donation. Also, is it possible for people to select which episodes they want to pay for premium content for? Meaning, Ep 10 is of interest, so they are willing to pay for premium content, but not for Ep 11.
Hi there! Buzzsprout Subscriptions is the easiest option to receive recurring support at any stage of podcasting. Once you feel ready, you can then launch premium subscriber-only content for listeners. You can find additional information here: www.buzzsprout.com/help/184-faq-podcasters

If we set up subscription for premium content, will we still need to set up subscription on Apple, if we’re using their podcast platform?

THANK YOU BUZZSPROUT!
Will it be possible for me to offer early access to my subscribers - not that I will get any!
Sure! Just start each episode as a Premium Version. Then go back after a week and make it available for everybody!
@@Buzzsprout Awesome feature!

This sounds great, but could this work with the subscriber base I’ve already built on Patreon? Am I able to add this private RSS feed to my Patreon?

Thank you for this. God bless you all!
This is great - but how is this better than Patreon?
Awesome
I’m new to this. Which is a better option? What if no one subscribes?
