I notice in Yogi’s room, the window has no curtains. I value my privacy. I have stayed in a lot of places of accommodation.
If I have watched the video correctly, it looks like you and the kids skied down a triple black diamond trail. I used to ski but I have given up skiing as I am getting old. I can still do things like snowshoeing and believe it or not winter swimming but my days of skiing are over, also going on theme park rides. I don’t like the long lift lines at ski areas. Some of the ski area cafeterias can have awfully good food, better than the highway rest stop food courts, but I think they are usually rather expensive.
I worked at a ski area before and I have seen kids Yogi’s and Liam’s age be masters at snowboard jumps so it is no surprise to see Liam, you, and Yogi do a triple black diamond trail.
Where I live in Georgia, there is no snow on the ground. We have a lake near us where the water temp right now is 12 degrees Celsius. A few trees are blossoming right now along with the daffodils. I have been doing a lot of swims in the lake lately. I was down in Northern Florida not too far from Gainesville, FL in late February and some of the trees had already started leafing out and I hit the area during a warm spell when the daytime high got up to almost 30 degrees Celsius and there was a little bit of humidity and I got all kinds of chigger bites on the trip from camping and hiking. Warm weather does bring some evils such mosquitoes, black flies, horse and deer flies, chiggers, etc., depending on where you are. As far as weather, the location where you are can make an awful lot of difference as far as the weather is concerned.
Since I understand that the comments on many RUclips channels are now have to be moderated, maybe I am being more personal in writing my comments since there is little chance of it being posted which I am beginning to think it is actually a blessing in disguise. If I try to write something publicly, I tend to get what is called ‘writers block” if you know what that is. Sometimes things you think were evil at first such bad weather as an example might be a blessing in disguise.
I think it is just as well that this comment don’t get posted publically. Of course I leave it up your discretion whether to post it publically.
I know the comments are very definitely now being moderated because my comment does not show up on one of my other devices that is not signed onto RUclips. I had to test it out. Maybe one good thing-it knocks out the haters and trolls.
Well it appears RUclips is opening up comments for us a bit. It is a pain because most of our comments are totally awesome (see above) and it really helps us connect with our fans. We kind of got blind sided by this whole youtube thing and they killed two of our top 5 performing videos! Really stinks and it seems we have no recourse... RUclips giveth and RUclips taketh away.... Anyway, thanks for the great comments. Always appreciated!
Your previous videos still don’t have their comments opened up yet. You have two vlogs, e66 and e137 which are you two polar plunge challenges and there is no way I can get a hold of you on them to comment other than on here or send a message to you through Facebook messenger for example. I do a lot of or have done a lot winter swimming and I can tell winter swimming is something you got to work yourself into gradually and build yourself up to just like lifting weights. At the moment I can spend about 10 minutes in the water under the conditions in the two videos. If I were not conditioned to doing, me going in would be like you and the kids doing it in the videos. From what I read, most winter swimmers start in the fall while the water is not excessively cold and then work their way down to when the temperature is close to freezing as fall progresses into winter. The only reason I got into it is because I decided to give a try and found it wasn’t as hard as I originally thought.

Maloy7800 Tomba was a slalom skier not a downhiller. He basically skied around sticks his whole career. 🤪

Snowboards? The boys don't seem to interested... I might try it but skiing is my thing and I can do hills on skis that I could never do with a board (at least for decades!).

Conclusion. Not my kind of skiing. First, I'm a snowboard guy. And second, I prefer REAL skiing tracks, not swerving around Canadian trees. Other than that, "it's got character, which is cool".
but the trees just add that Canadian authenticity to it all 😁
