Holy Cow, that Walkabout is a real find! & a fantastic record. & film. Scared the hell out of me when they showed on the BBC I was about 8! Yeah those sticky record covers are terrible. I love you’re subtle approach to not getting political John! 😆
Thanks HP. I need to revisit that Walkabout movie. Midnight Oil have a song 'Short Memory' and it sums up what I feel about all those lockdowns we had to put up with.........I don't have a short memory!!!🤣
Hi John. Richards questions are always fun. I’m not a fan of those sleeves you mentioned.. the noise they make is irritating . I agree Bjork is a acquired taste cheers John 🍺 👍
Cheers Mike. I was expecting a bit of heat for not being a Beatles fan, but the Bjork fan club has been rather vocal......😂Nana is a Nada for me; I had to put up with her in my childhood days.........
Thank you Mike. Hmmm, Bjork is just someone I cannot get into. I wish I knew why; I mean, I like Diamanda Galas, Nina Hagen and Lene Lovich, all more leftfield than Bjork is.....
@@downundertuneage3875 i'm into quite a bit of the early björk stuff but when she entered her human-animal-hybrid phase visually it pretty much put me off of most of her music immediately. haven't checked into much that came after 'biophilia' and i doubt i'll ever will.
Great answers John. I'm with you on nearly everything! You sold me on that Walkabout film and record I"ll try to find it and watch it and check out the music too! Cheers mate!
Thank you Kostis. I wish I could have described the movie better, but I have not seen it since I was very young. I've played some of the album, and it is very 'Australian' There is an official release from around 2016, but I'm happy with my 'POO' record.....😁
John, smashed it out of the park mate 👍If I am missing a record when I want to do a band feature, I just go ahead with it. It's impossible to cover everything & someone will always say, but you didn't talk about blah! Nice soundtracks especially Walkabout on Poo ha, ha! That was too easy. Bands John D doesn't like...3, 2, 1 Midnight Oil 😂"Stuff You, RUclips" he says while on You Tube 🤣Well done mate. I knew you'd have great answers. Cheers...Ben
The one I showed was 'unofficial' but there has been a 'proper' release in 2016 with a different cover. We did watch the movie a few months ago, and that is fairly easy to find on DVD.
Very enjoyabke watching this. Thanks 😊
Great answers
A fantastic response John, I really enjoyed it!
Thank you for putting up the questions, Richard.😀

Good rational answers, John. I'm surprised by the Bjork answer. I was sure you would appreciate her.
Thank you Brian. I'll stick with Diamanda, Lene Lovich and Nina Hagen. Bjork needs more work before she can join them.....😀
Please don’t mind saying sort of be yourself most👌😍

Thank you Rob. I made sure I wasn't drinking anything when did my response...😂
Hi John, Can't believe you skipped over Nana Mouskouri! 🤣I love your "can't stand" list! Very funny. Truth be told I'm not a Beatles guy either. 🤠

Great video John. Agree with nearly everything you said. I love Björk 😂

Thanks Ben. The way YT can just bump your video for playing just a few seconds of a song really gets up my goat. 🐐Cheers JD
@@downundertuneage3875 I totally agree mate
The Beatles and Bob Dylan never did much for me either, but I can't avoid the enchantments and uniqueness of Bjork :)
Thanks Gus. A few people have picked up on Bjork, but give me Nina Hagen, Lene Lovich or Diamanda Galas any day......😀
Wow never knew there was a Walkabout soundtrack.

@@downundertuneage3875 Yup, I have Criterion Collection Blu-ray. Criterions are another weakness of mine lol
Poo record label is an odd one. I don’t use a mirror but I do tend to avoid looking into the lens. To the point I look like a blind man at times.
Nothing wrong with your presentation, VR😀You should copyright that walk-in, walk-out. I love it! Cheers John D
