I don' t think being able to take more clients, will reduce the number of bookkeepers needed. I think AI is going to drastically increase the number of entrepreneurs and small businesses, which will probably increase the number of bookkeepers needed. I think pretty much all B2B businesses are going to be in good shape.
I'd love to see how you can begin to incorporate AI...I've only done it to help with wording for a blog post...I'd love to see how it can begin to be incorporated in bookkeeping. Without going crazy all at once. LOL

Thanks so much for covering this topic! Ever since Intuit introduced Intuit Assist, I have been thinking about changing up my business model. I would love to see you add to this topic in future videos, speaking to even more specific ways AI could be leveraged by bookkeepers or accountants (as I like to refer to us) and how we may need to change or expand our service offerings, pricing, marketing and target clients.

I'm still doing bookkeeping and accounting by hand. So far, I have only done bookkeeping and accounting for two clients these past few years. Hopefully, I will learn to do more of this sort on computer, and get used to it.
Yes, QuickBooks Online saves a lot of time!

Do you have an accounting degree? My apologies if you answered this somewhere else I havent watched all your content. I am an older freshman going back for an accounting degree looking at bookkeeping jobs in my area to get experience.
I don't! I was an English major in undergrad, and then I learned bookkeeping with online courses and on-the-job training.
I'm in the same boat as you! I thought I should get a couple quarters under my belt before I started applying in the industry. But I am definitely ready to transition. How are things turning out for you?

It is VERY thorough and starts at the beginning to teach you all about bookkeeping, debits/credits, accounting rules, etc. They give you a QBO subscription to practice on & hands-on experience. It also goes through how to set up your business and has a very active, helpful community--along with email support for when you get your first clients and run into issues.
