Now, imagine if Cissy Houston were up on that stage with Luther singing background! All Hell Would Have Broke Loose, especially if I were in the audience!! Cissy is THE TRUTH!
Lawd,if I'd seen Luther & Cissy perform this song live, I would have died & gone to Heaven right then & there! One of my all-time favorite Luther classics!! Continue RIHP! 💘
In my Luther mode!! Love and miss you, Romance Music Emperor!! This man made such a great impact on my life; If Only For One Night was my high school prom theme and song; The songs, The Night I Fell in Love and Creepin' are my absolute favorites from this album! The group, Change, and the album, Never Too Much, were my great introduction to the Great Luther! RIHP King! 🙏
Ava Cherry did and Lisa Fisher did well with her album i don't know if Kevin Owens did You can find Lisa Fisher on you tube hpe the information is helpful.
@@amp12345amp Lisa. Fisher did a few albums that was nice and Ava Cherry as well i don't know if Kevin Owens did one. You can find some of Lisa Fisher music on you tube i hope this information was helpful.
I get mad when the radio stations do not play this gem after If Only! You have to have this song after that! I don't know no one on the planet who turns off or gets tired of hearing this golden voice! Peace and thanks for posting such a rare and cool gem!
My parents took me with them to a Luther Vandross concert when I was about 10 years old. I honestly wasn't old enough to appreciate what I was witnessing at the time but I very much remember him performing "Creepin." I thought to myself Luther is one of the coolest, smoothest guys I've ever seen. Still one of my favorite songs.
I was actually at this concert. I was way, way at the back somewhere and it was a marvellous evening. So glad I was able to watch a legend at his best. RIP my hero... you are extremely missed down here.
This is the shit that makes U-Tube stock rise... We will never be able to see Mr. Luther live again (rest his soul) and I didn't I was going to see him today and get to see him 19 times !! Aww man I'm CREEPIN'
HIGH CLASS & CHARACTER!!! You know you a BAD MAN when you don't mind the backups SHINING!!!!! When I look at a performance on you tube , I pay attention to the back ups they can make or break a performance. Soloist are good but it's the backups that hold it together like glue!!!!!
Until I heard this track for the very first time on the radio. I thought that my one favorite jam from him was "I want to the to stay" of which means a lot but, then al of sudden it all changed when I heard "Creepin" and then I thought DAMN! DAMN! double DAMN! I am speechless.. ;-)
1987 London and I had the pleasure of being there. Awesome concert. I lived Germany back then. Sad his perceived lifestyle stopped him from getting the recognition he so deserved. Love him forever! RIP Friend.
Got introduced to this song a few days ago I can’t stop playing it Luther is already my favorite male singer of all time and now I don’t not know he made this song and know, knowing he made it,it’s just add more icing on the cake🙌🏾❤️🫶🏾
Don't get me wrong, I'm a lifetime fan of the ultimate soul maestro of our times. I was there and totally entranced by the performance. But that's the problem, it's like someone got a Stradavarius and painted go faster stripes on it. Luther was the consummate vocal gymnast, the industry forced him to become a cabaret artist. Even with his unbelievable qualities, he became a ridiculous industry churn. Despite everything, the vocal ability was, is, and always will be, a standard for others to aspire to. Legend is almost too insignificant to begin to describe such phenomenal talent.
SCREAMING!!!!!!!! Was thinking about Luther & this song today.. which is second fav to Never Too Much. Thank you for posting. Rest Peacefully Luther but how can you when you've got Whitney, Michael, Teddy, Barry jammin'.
TODAY IN MUSIC HISTORY: February 5, 1990 - ‘The Night I Fell In Love’ is Luther Vandross’ first album to be certified double platinum by the RIAA. [02/05/2018]
