Imagine wave 3 drops and we get edged so hard with that new verse. Like most of the monsters randomly get a new track added because of Clavi Gnat and there’s a whole new section that lasts 3 seconds.
That would be hilarious. I love this video concept lmao

I had a concept for this too with Wave 1 having the singles, Poppette, Periscorp, Squot, Clavi Gnat, Peckidna, Uuduk, Gob, and TooToo. I think that makes sense song-wise but it’s also a non-Fire double for each Magical element (each with a different Natural element) plus the triple you get with that monster plus Fire, which I think is cool. I haven’t thought through the other waves but they’d probably be 4 more waves of 5, each with a Magical quad (either in map order or release order) and one other monster of each Magical element. I personally don’t think Nexus would’ve ever been released incomplete since it doesn’t have any new monsters but it’s still fun to think to about!

Bonkers isn’t really a wave one monster, so they probably would have teased something else. I think they chose to tease that one for the actual nexus release because rare bonkers was the newest rare magical at the time.
Idk why but that bit at 5:19 where everything stops for the whimzies sounds really good, I wish they had it in full song

Nexus is my favorite island and the hype upon it's release has been unmatched by any other update.
But, in retrospect, that hype wouldn't have died down so quickly if the monsters came in waves. I feel like everybody's already forgotten about it.
A bit surprised the first wave didn't have peckidna- personally, I feel it works best with peckidna in place of withur and poppette in place of periscorpe. That way, its all doubles. But idk that's just me.
I feel like peckidna should be in one of the last waves so we can get a nice surprise verse.

When I got the monsters on this island, I kind of did it in waves where I’d get a new wave every 2 days bc that’s when my next few batches of food would be ready for transposition. Although I would change some of the ways I did it, so here’s my waves of Nexus
Wave 1: Theremind, Floot Fly, Clackula, Fluoress, Bonkers, Pluckbill, Bulbo, Hawlo, Clavi Gnat
Wave 2: Poppette, Gob, Whimmzies, Yuggler, Denchuhs, Cantorell, Pladdie
Wave 3: Squot, Peckidna, Periscorp, Banjaw, Fiddlement, Plinkajou
Wave 4: Hippity Hop, Too Too, Uuduk, Tapricorn, Blow’t
Wave 5: Spytrap, Withur, Rooba, Bridg-it, Gloptic
Though I do think you could have saved some of the more impactful monsters for the last couple waves.

in this alternate universe I think the song would've released in like... summersong 2023. that way they wouldn't of needed every monster ready (also because rare fluoress sort of teased nexus)
I feel like what they should of done if it was in waves was have half of the OG islands magical sent every wave, like the first half of light, then the second half of light, then the first have of psychic, and so on.
probably in the order of psychic, faerie, bone, and light though

Oh hey, another video with a similar idea to mine (coincidentally enough.), but all put into one video!
I feel like that the waves would be ordered from least impactful, to most impactful contributions to the song, like Pladdie, and Cantorell being having some of the absolute most *SHORTEST* parts of the entire Magical Nexus song, and doesn’t really do much, and the last remaining waves would have monsters like Uuduuk, Peckidna, and Gob, just to name a few, for how much they contribute to the song, though Gob could be debatable if it should be a wave 1, or las wave monster, as it’s LITERALLY the island’s bass, but it also contributes to the majority of the song.
But either way, this seems evenly spread out, even to the point that the final wave dropped on the *_18th_* of September, which also just so happens to take place during Anniversary Month!
They should’ve done waves like imagine the hype behind everything like amber island everyone was soo hype for the quints, sneyser, rotitoot, woolabee, tiawa, krillby, repitillo and yea it kinda was a let down but imagine this island in waves like people would be so hype and can’t wait to see monsters like peckidina, withur, periscorp, gob, pladdie, flouress, ect like it would’ve gotten way more hype then it already has but still my favorite song in the game 😊

Reminder! Every new island that has new monsters always released with 5 monsters! (Wave one would have the singles and gob due to the order they're put together (+ gob was the first monster to be released in the wave format))

how i think the island would be like if it was released in waves
wave 1- fluoress, popette, cantorell and blow't
wave 2- theremind, hippityhop, withur and bulbo + new verse between the main verse and the verse where fluoress plays track 3
wave 3- floot fly, peckidna, spytrap and gloptic + the theremind verse is longer
wave 4- clackula, pluckbill, tapricorn and pladdie
wave 5- denchuhs, bonkers, wimmzies and uuduk + the main verse plays again after pladdie plays
wave 6- tootoo, rooba, clavi gnat and plinkajou
wave 7- fiddlement, periscorp, banjaw and gob + the beginning verse plays one more time at the end but with theremind and periscorp
WHO IS SINGLES
Thankfully, this WASNT a wave island

Lore wise, the stair shaper (the structure that holds the eggs and the creator of the magicals) will most likely never accept sanctum monsters because the sanctum monsters were not made my the stair shaper and they were made by enchantler (the magical sanctum titan)
