my light here in downey 90240 were out for about 30 minutes but the rest of the city is off here and there, not nearly as long as it was when i was a kid in the 80's here at this house the power was out for a week in the summer back then. But what was so different this time was the water was out at the same time, no pressure for hours.
Someone inside definitely messed it up on purpose, there is no way it just had to happen right on holidays. Way too coincidental. And the fact they don't even have a backup for emergency... We need to catch the culprit and have the person or group prosecuted.

Those affected probably were forced to rent a generator in order to play Christmas songs through WiFi. If so, they should apply for credit through whatever utility company they have (there are some in Orange County that has SDG&E).
