CHOSEN FAMILY and BAD FRIEND are my absolute favourites and since Sir John has been very vocal about his love for SAWAYAMA, the album, this is a full circle moment for all us fans and definitely a dream come true.
I lived 22 years in Japan and know a lot of great Japanese performers... that never break into the western music industry. And I really like how Rina is a UK artist first who also happens to be Japanese. And she produces her own music and writes her songs and so much more. So I am really hoping that she sky rockets all over the world.

It's really neat that Sir Elton is still super in tune and enthusiastic about new music.
I just love that sentiment - that the chosen family are the people that support what you do and you chose them as your family... but I think it goes further than that, because they have to chose you too... it is like you are fated to chose each other. Where we chose each other and relationships based on respect and supporting what we do together and separately. That is what Chosen family means to me.
