I was going thru a transition of my life. I lost my grandmother who was the world to me, had to cut off the family members I grew up with, and was struggling with my mental health. All the while I managed to find a amazing supportive man, and found crocheting at the same time this was all going down. I wouldn’t have made it thru the last year and a half without him and crochet. The repetative moves of crochet, combined with the beautiful designs I could create gave me hope to hold onto.
heyy fellow crocheter out here making granny squares as well❤ just a tip: make a slip knot, chain 3 and then slip stich into the first chain you made so you have a bigger hole to crochet into😘 also, watching this while crocheting is sooooo good🫶🏼
My mom crocheted a big blanket like that ages ago and it's nice to have something that she made herself. It's like a piece of her and it's dear to me. I hope that your blanket will be held dear by someone as well. 😊
My mum crocheted a blanket for me last year to take with me when I stay at my partner's place and she made it using all the spare wool she had. It's enormous and has just about every colour in it and it's so special to snuggle up with, knowing she made it.
These are SO cute. I took up crocheting a few years ago to share a hobby with my mum, but I never quite made it to daisy granny squares! They are just the sweetest thing and I could see how tempting it would be to make millions, lol. This was a lovely video and I'd love to see more crocheting content!
I decided to check this out while i was crocheting. never thought about crochet alongs as ASMR, but this was cool. If I may, to help with your tension, since you said you were working on loosening it, relax your shoulders, take a few deep breaths and roll your neck a little before you begin or after youve restarted. It also helps to work a small swatch before you begin, to loosen the hands and wrists and relax into it. tension adjustment is constant for me, so i get it. even being a long time crocheter its always something i have to adjust for. This was nice. Thanks!

In fact, I'm more of a Hollywood Undead fan 🤘. Please do more of this in the future! Plus that big flower cushion as well as that bucket hat thingy on the Stitch plushie at the back are so cute 🤍💫🌻
