  • A more complex and lengthy piece which was started several years ago and with a concerted effort, finished recently. Some pieces can fall naturally to Moog renditions but a piece such as this falls on the border line and in this case just passes ...hopefully.

You, like no one else, understand Bach and transmit an electronic sensibility that is being left behind, but that beats in many of us who enjoyed a time.

    Fabulous!!
You have kept the 'faith'...á la Wendy Carlos, but I think you have absolutely given it your very own twist.
I love just how crisp this interpretation is.
    It swings.
    I just LOVE it!!

I am always excited to see another clip appear on your channel. Once again, an excellent transcription with perfect tone choices which add so much character to the piece. Fantastic job, many thanks for sharing.

Thanks Andrew ..These things seem to get more difficult to do and yet even more time consuming…. if that’s possible. Also, choosing the piece takes much consideration as what you think is ideal
for Moog transcription, simply doesn’t work. For every piece that’s posted here, there’s several that are in the reject bin and each and everyone has soaked up hours of work. I may have one more piece before spring and then that’s it until autumn as I take a break during summer.

Wendy of course was a pioneer. THE pioneer.
But pioneers are followed by giants.
I think with your work you show to be a worthy heir to Wendy's legacy.
Will you do the entire BWV? Please?!

very impressed! may I ask you, did you use keyboard and layered voice by voice, or there were only wires and it's played straightaway?

Transported back to Walter Carlos in the 70's. Superb. May I ask if you have a Moog Modular or do you create with any particular VST's ? I have the Arturia Moog Modular VST and cannot recreate these incredible sounds like you. keep'em coming

    • @cloudhop

Many thanx….it’s 99% modular. I too have Arturia Modular and Minimoog, the latter being the best …I sometimes use these for continuo harpsichord timbres or similar.

@@cloudhop which specific modular is it?

    • @cloudhop
      @cloudhop  Год назад +1

@@tylerdurden2577 well I guess you would call it a Moog 55 but it was build from many modules, some are exact clones complete with faithful vintage components but there’s a few custom things in there such as touch sensitive keyboard and I use off-board AJH Mini Moog as well …that’s it really. (Oh and a Polymoog filter)
