COOL. the tank location is perfect. I would like to replicate the project but, acquiring the tank will be a challenge. I have an OBA for the lockers and tire inflation. A small service tank would be slick for the pit row tire changes and the like....
What are the dimensions of that air tank? I've been mulling some kind of onboard air for my CC LWB Frontier but hadn't even considered placing a tank in the spot you've identified, that looks like it has possibilities.
I like the idea of on-board air, but be very careful welding on a pressure vessel. In a commercial application, one must be a certified welder to modify ASME pressure vessels. Nothing against what he did here, I think it's a very clean project and am going to be doing something similar to my 2014 Pro4 as well.
Hey Matt I don't know if you still work on the MEP generators. If so I was wondering if you would be willing to answer a few questions regarding are MEP005A generator nothing to complicated. Just can't find much in regards to my problem.
@@MattVerley Alright here go’s, So the Machine only has 389 hours on it, It’s been started and maintained for the last 27 years. Within the last week it would not start, it would turn over but was acting like it had no fuel, so I checked and cleaned the fuel pump inlet and outlet screens also checked I had good fuel coming from the pump to the injection pump inlet all good. I then check the Injection pump solenoid to make sure I was getting power to it. It has power, I then checked if it was working it wasn’t so I replaced that, was pretty straightforward. I then drained the air from the lines and tried to start it fired right up. So problem solved? Yes and no. So I went to the hertz gauge to ensure everything was working right the gauge was reading max, like the engine itself is at its max, yet I have not adjusted the throttle. When I do adjust the throttle it fluctuates form 62 hertz to about 59 than back down to 62. The engine itself does not sound like it’s at its max and dose increase RPM as I pull the throttle. Could this be a problem with the transducer? Could the fuel injection pump solenoid be related? As in for every action there an equal and opposite reaction. Not sure, Any advice would be great.
Hi Matt I'm reaching out to you requesting help im building a 1995 Geo tracker could you assist me in where did you get your suspension from I saw the post on CRANKSHAFT culture
I think we are supposed to be friends. I too love Frontiers, I am a Forest Technician in BC, and I fly drones. Great video. Keep them coming.
Matt, thanks for the well done videos. Looking forward to an update to see how the truck has held up.

Thanks man really cool, got me thinking of my truck 73 kd9bwb
Was there enough space for tank and compressor in the voids forward of the wheel wells under the decking in the bed?
Isn’t it the governor that makes the ultimate difference?
Oops, reply to wrong RUclips vid!
