Having the Prototype put as much tension into revealing himself with the red gas, the loud mechanical sounds of his claw, and his ominous opening line, just for the Mimic to hit him with "calm down, buddy" made me laugh harder than it should have.

I must confess that this particular duel left me utterly bewildered when the mimic emerged forth from the molten magma and proceeded to articulate, with uncanny precision, the very same words as the prototype had delivered at the commencement of the encounter.

Fucker is damn durable, and if I am remembering correctly, The Mimic can, well, Mimic and Control any robot it gets it's hands into. The Prototype may be more Bio-Mechanical, but it still has mechanical parts, and, well...

@lemonsss1094I particularly consider this outcome of events due to the prototypes (mimics) demeanor at the end of this fearsome encounter.
@Hopetlicepop The mimic won, you can see it's eyes behind Prototype's mask. The molten metal burned away the remaining organic components that kept the Prototype alive, while all it did was make the mimic overheat slightly.

You have to take it into account on how the prototype body is still intact after falling into the lava.
For me, I made this theory that the two fuse into one being, given how they look different in the end, once you look at the design in the ending.

@S@Shapocka_ushanka mean, if I’m gonna be honest I don’t know if red gas can even affect a robot like the mimic plus in the opening it’s obvious that the mimic doesn’t even look affected by the red gas but merely more just blinding his vision since what type of person who is affected by the red gas can block the prototypes upcoming stab so yeah, I am sure that the red gas wouldn’t do anything but probably just help blind the mimic

People always forget how powerful the mimic is. Dude fell in lava twice and got crushed more than once and he's still kicking.
A train is impressive but you know what else is impressive? Getting crushed by 35 tons of rock in an elevator shaft
Edit: I’m referring to the OTHER ELEVATOR when the Mimic was piloting Big Top where he got crushed under several tons of rock and didn’t escape until after he was hit

It's because 1006 caught up to a speeding train that was actually 499 mph and he survived multiple crashes

In my opinion, this fight is 50/50, it depends on the scenario they're fighting in, even though it was only 3 minutes, every second was great.

This fight is mainly a 50/50 if you gave the Mimic homefield advantage and the mascot costumes/robots. It becomes a lot different if you had both the Prototype and Mimic fight in an empty, open field with just the things on them. It'll still be a hard considering that both have different advantages but relatively similar stats if you don't go by calcs but it'll probably go to the Prototype given it's speed and durability (though if the Mimic manages to find out and aim for the same weakspot as Kissy Missy did to release red gas, there is a reasonable he might win as the Prototype ran away screaming from it, possibly due to th leaking red gas).
I think M2 wins more times than not personally, it’s got more versitility compared to Ollie’s limited form and is obviously smarter than the Killing Machine limited to the mind of a Child.

1 - Yes, the Prototype being Bigger would give him the Strength Factor here especially if Someone like Doey could stall the Prototype, same Doey Physically lifting while being Massively weakened by Ice, a Drill that weighs anywhere from 70 to 100 US Tons aka 340,000 pounds, which a Weakened Doey can lifted, and a Healthy Doey can stall the Prototype and is Narratively weaker than the Prototype, so the Prototype should be relative or Superior to Doey in Strength (Applies to Prototypes Physical and Lifting Strength)
(Another point to the Prototype's Strength) - is Stronger than a Weakened and Healthy Huggy Wuggy take can Tear and Break and bend down Thick Steel Doors, and same Weakened Huggy that was able to Smash through a Big Thick Concrete wall (Beginning of the Chapter 5) - (This would Apply to the Prototypes Striking and Raw Strength Narratively within the story)
- And Here's another point to addon to the Prototypes Strength (Aka Mommy Long Legs) - Mommy Long Legs during her chase scene was shown to Physically tearing down a 12-15-foot-tall giant Concrete rock/rocks that weigh to 3,915 pounds or 1.96 tons and caused the Factory to shake with her own Strength shown while chasing us (This would Apply to the Prototypes Lifting/Brute/Physical Strength Vi versa)
Overall - Lifting Strength = Class 100/K via Doey, Striking Strength (Also equals to his AP) = Small Building/Building/Large Building/City-Block/Multi City-Block
Now onto Speed
Prototype also takes this Category
- Faster than Huggy Wuggy who can run a half a Mile under 3 Minutes or much less, and move faster than a Moving Vehicle which Huggy would have to have moving anywhere from 6.6 Mph to 30 or fast Mph (Peak Human/Superhuman Speed travel/Attack speed)
- Traveling/Moving as fast or faster than a moving train in Chapter 5 which looks to be a Freight train which goes 30/80 Mph or possibly faster, which the prototype would have to being Traveling/Moving at Superhuman/Subsonic Speeds (This applies to his Travel/Perception Speed or even his Attack/Combat speed which I'll tackle why in a Minute)
- Perception Blitzed Kissy Missy who should equal to Relative to Huggy Wuggy in Speed, and was facing the Direction of the Prototype yet couldn't Perceive or react to him Impaling Huggy Wuggy in the Chest would mean he should be faster than both of them (Would apply to his Combat/Attack Speed, and reaction if you want)
Overall - Travel/Reaction/Perception Speed = Superhuman/Subsonic Likely faster, Combat/Attack Speed = Superhuman Possibly faster
Durability - Implied taking hits from Doey who can lift 70/100 (340,000 Pounds) US tons Drill while weakened (this would apply to Doey's Physical Strength and likely Striking which based off my new calcs, Doey's Punches would lash out at City Block/Multi City-Block in AP/Strength which The Prototype was taking), was able to tank a High-Speed Train Crash (I was able to calc at Large Building) and Massive Explosion from the train crash (which based off Blast Yield = to Energy released, the Explosion of the Freight train would give is 1Kiloton which is Multi City-Block/Small Town but this is a little highball) with little Damage
IQ - Obviously goes to the Prototype

Stamina is Equal
Endurance - is close but I'll give it to the Prototype - Enduring Fire attacks, Ice attacks, Explosions, hits from a Healthy Doey, and enduring a High-Speed Train crash (more of a Durability feat), and more
Abilities - Prototype

AP - Prototype (Via Durability=AP/AP=Durability, and his Striking Strength)
Lowballed - Small Building/Building/Large Building
Mid-Ball - City Block/Multi City Block

That ending was actually the most terrifying part, but also the most accurate regarding the Mimic.
What would really be accurate is seeing the prototype emerge from the lava with the torso of the mimic skewered on his sharp fingers
@inf1n1ty_official a lot of you are forgetting the fact that the mimic is implied to be at least partially made of tungsten which is why it's able to survive lava meaning skewering it would be almost impossible.

@THECATcreator-quq7the prototype gets cleared by the mimic, the mimic literally survived magma and can mimic more than just voices- but he also learns his opponents weaknesses and attacks as he’s fighting to form a counter. the prototype is no easy feat but it definitely doesn’t win.

Tbh even if this wasn't a non-research fight, I still massively applaud this without really caring who wins. Bro did an immaculate job having both the Prototype and the Mimic be in-character; the Prototype is so much more dramatic and brutal (taking the time to set up that intro) while the Mimic is an actual machine that cuts right to the point and creatively goes for the jugular with its own intellect. Even the way they copy people's words are different; the Prototype remixes them for creative new sentences, while the Mimic uses exact quotes for a particular situation. Well done, that finisher was cold af.
It's possible, but Mimic won't defeat the prototype in any case because of Poppy Gel. This is official information not about defeating, but about the properties of the prototype, even within the Poppy Playtime game itself.
The prototype is completely filled with Poppy gel, which instantly restores it, plus it is very durable in itself, plus it is not a robot, as in the recordings themselves
They literally took the child apart and placed the brain and other organs into the prototype body.
The mimic couldn't hack him because he wasn't a robot. It also couldn't take over his mind because the game's "security breach" directly refers to the V.A.N.N.I. system and the very environment where the mimic could take over people.
Plus Vanessa was captured during a VR game in the game "Five Nights at Freddy's Help wanted"....
It turns out that the prototype cannot be defeated in a way that was not even shown in the MORO animation itself.

Prototype's best scaling is small building to building while M2 has casual building to city-block scaling.

He's still too resilient to be killed that way. The gel regenerates him almost instantly, as was evident in the train and the explosion itself; he emerged from the wreckage virtually unscathed.
It's important to consider that the Mimic, although strong, is unlikely to be able to cause him serious damage, and in an open field, and even in the factory itself, playtime will probably simply kill him in a 1vs1 battle.
Plus, I didn't mention Deadpool, and if we're talking about Deadpool, who exactly? There are many theories. The Deadpool in the movie can only be killed by a black hole since there's no Lady Death, but in the comics, it's more complicated.
Thanos cursed Deadpool out of jealousy towards Lady Death.

I love how this ending it kinda gives the best for both communities, poppy playtime fans should be happy knowing that in a normal 1v1 prototype prolly Js beats mimic because of strength and durability, and the mimic fans get the see mimic using big brain strats to win in its own environment.

Honestly, I'm a fan of how this battle would end if it was an actual Death Battle.
Because on one hand, we can have the Prototype seemingly walking out of the fight after the smoke clears, only to reveal its the Mimic, having killed the Protoype and using its body as a suit.
On the other hand, we could also have the Prototype repairing and upgrading itself after the fight using the Mimic's leftover parts
The mimic never killed the prototype well this is actually inaccurate because the prototype was apparently drugged with pink juice and can literally regenerate if you made him wrong side out. Eventually the mimic will throw away his new suit and it will grow back to hunt mimic again. But as well mimic is smart and had already adapted to the prototypes moves and feels like some easy fight to him.

@Ecknau Fr tho, the whole fight was fucking rigged. THIS IS THE ONLY DEATH BATTLE, where it was fucking decided by a environmental factor. Like it is fair to let the mimic use the other animatronics, but utilizing the lava was dumb. They most likely did this to get more comments because of the fucking ragebait outcome.

Not to mention that this endoskeleton can Also become a giant enemy spider who's addicted to tickets as shown in the video.

a giant metal spider that can tank electrocution, ppint blank chemical explosions, keep up and tank a max speed train crash into rocks and coming out with no damage vs metal suit that can lift a steel door and rip a car door (Doey is inferior to Prototype, and same said Doey who could hold up a crushing machine while heavily weakened because he was getting frozen btw)

@riquelmegouveiaarrudadebarros The problem is that this doesn't match what we've seen in the games. He can survive in lava, but his arm was torn off by a regular elevator. In half. It's like he's not made of cool megametal, but rather of cheap steel, or the elevator is made of something so powerful that even a mimic couldn't withstand it.
I didn't expect the prototype to lose. I was caught off guard. :P
I mean me knowing what his opponent was actually capable off instead of judging by appearances and first impressions, I did see that coming.

@ArianwynSilver Nah, Prototype has flesh like any other toy in Poppy Playtime, while Mimic is very likely made of Tungsten since it did survive a smelting pool before and more. Plus, the spiral eyes and repeated voice line in a glitchy voice but mocking way means it's the mimic.

I don't know about edible. As giblet said he is juiced up on Poppy gel. He can be cut in half but he would still put himself back together. And I doubt that poppy flowers are edible.

i had a feeling it would come down to the lava feat, prototype has shown no such resistance to that, although i do question how his body lived but not himself.
It's probably the fact that everything outside of the prototype is made up of not easy to burn/melt stuff, while on the inside, it's bio stuff that, while is twisted beyond a normal body, is still some living meat stuff that can still get cooked by any constant high heat stuff, like the molten metal pit at the end
