I empathize and try understand but I think if we never felt it we really can't grasp what really is. I think the only thing we can do is just listen and be there. Also loved the music. You indeed, reign supreme, my Queen 👑 I was born in an era where depression was not openly discussed, let alone acknowledged. Being told to cheer up, get over it, or being mocked for your emotions was the norm. I am so glad times have changed, although when it comes to mental health and quite a few other issues, there is still a long way to go. But progress, not perfection, is still good! I am very fortunate that the company I work for offers free counseling to staff and their family, available 24/7, with various specialists available by appointment. They offer everything from breathing therapy(I learned this is a thing during a workshop last week) to online yoga classes for stress! It's just a pity that therapy isn't readily available for the majority of people and thankful that certain cultures, too, are slowly coming round 😊

Apparently, I breathe too shallow, and I'm sure you know the ramifications of not getting enough oxygen. But, the additional benefits of stress relief, anger management, and generally just breathing before responding to different circumstances are hugely underrated. It truly does help. 😊
