I was in El Nido in May. I love the vibe of the town. There are so many cool restaurants and shops, there is so much to see and do, the locals are so friendly, it is such a safe town. I actually lost my phone on one of the tricycles, it just slipped out of my pocket and I didnt realize for a little while. When I realized I lost my phone, I was panicking. A bunch of the locals told me not to worry, that I would get it back. Sure enough, shortly after, I saw the driver I had, looking for me to give me back my phone. I dont think that would have happened in any other place on Earth. I cant wait to go back.
Unanh punta ko sa El Nido palawan, year 2017 grabe super dami turista halos puro foreigners na nakikita ko para akong nasa ibang bansa that time, iniisip ko nasa Pilipinas pa ba ako? Lol
What I would suggest to all local people that everyone should learn how to speak English because tourism industry is booming. Tourist are expanding. Local people should respect our tourist and give them more help and attention.
your a foreigner in THEIR land, your the one to respect them , respect their culture, its not upto them to adapt to your needs, aside from that phillipines is one of worlds most widely spoken english due to western relations and their tourism is perfectly fine. plus I would rather have controlled tourism instead of mass tourism and crowd such a beautiful place, its fine as it is now
The local government should fix the roads, make it presentable and always maintain it clean since El nido is foreign tourist destination.
The roads are bad yes but the Philippines is a poor country. Can't expect them to just fix everything without any money.

Place name?
DAMN...are there any actual FILIPINOS there???
