@@boardgamegeek I prefer indirect player interaction in my games unless the theming and mechanics of the game lend more to direct player interaction. I also prefer indirect player interaction when playing abstract strategy games. Cascadia is one of my favorite abstract strategy games that has indirect player interaction. Thanks for your feedback on this game! I'm definitely going to add this title into my collection.
Oh, this game is right up my alley. Anything Kiesling, I love. I watched a play through with people who enjoyed it! Lot's of laughing and chatter, people taking cards other people wanted! It's a bit of a race for those cards.
Definitely more euro-y head down play than Azul, but those that felt Azul was too mean with the hate drafting to stick someone with 5 tiles they can’t keep might want to play this instead. I agree i love the design but it does feel mostly solo, although paying close attention what others are building will definitely have you pivot, And that’s the interaction there
I really appreciate your game reviews, they feel somewhat different from what we get on other channels. Thank you for those!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching, and I hope they're useful... -WEM

This feels like it could’ve been an azul but it’s got the fussiness that has increasingly crept into that series.
