Sligo will appeal and the appeal will fail. He made an absolute mess and impeded a player who would otherwise have been in on goal. Stonewall red card. If it happened in the 90th minute nobody would question it.

The ref said he was the last man which was extremely unfair. If u don't know what that means its that John was the only one between The goal keeper and the player and he fouled him which is an immediate red card. Bit you can clearly see that there was another Rovers player in front of him so it shouldn't have been a red. I'm completely in agreement with you

There was nothing wrong with the commentators. The absence of crowd microphones gives the impression that there's nobody there, when in fact there were nearly 3,000 noisy fans. I've done those commentaries myself and if you haven't got crowd microphones, it sounds very weak. Gerry Farry.
