Hi Laura, Thank you so much for your kind words regarding the video. I am so pleased to learn that you love a-ha - there are many of us that do! Did you manage to get to any if the concerts this year? There are four booked in next year, so do go to a-ha.com for further information, Laura!
Percebo que alguns queriam que Morten tivesse mais interação com a platéia, mas sempre foi assim. Ele é tímido e entra no palco sóbrio diferente de outros vocalistas tímidos.
I loved the concert last night, we spent 2 hours dancing and singing and loving the atmosphere. But watching this, I realise just how little Morten engages with the audience. There was a tiny effort with ‘ Hunting High & Low ‘ but other than that, he just stands still or walks in a circle. If it weren’t for Mags, there’d be no involvement from the band. We saw them last year in Norway and found the unplugged concert pretty boring. This was far better...just a bit more head bopping at least please, Mort! Still love A-ha though.
Yep I agree, saw them 2 years ago in Blackpool, same thing. Great band, great singer with impressive range but unfortunately very little in the way of stage presence and I don't know why because his English is excellent, shame really.
Hi Gloria, thank you for joining in the debate about the show and Morten's participation levels with the audiences. Having been to so many concerts one gets used to it. I don't think it's malicious - he loves the fans. Magne once said in a BBC interview 'he's always been the difficult one!'. He prefers to sing really well, rather than Dave Gahan style perform. It is understood exactly what you mean though, Gloria. Magne's funny isn't he?!
@@davidleigh7698 Hi David, thank you for sharing your thoughts on the subject of Morten's audience participation. I was at that concert in Blackpool and funnily enough he was more engaged there than other shows! If you see what was written to Gloria, perhaps you could add your thoughts again?
Edward Parton Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been in love with Morten since I was 15! I have seen many concerts...I remember crying like a baby at the farewell tour in 2010. But I just feel he is more and more reserved with each tour, and it’s such a shame as I loved his energy even up til 2010. He will always be my first crush and they will always be my life long band love. But dragging my other half is becoming increasingly difficult as, in his words, “ Morten looked like he didn’t even want to be there “. Shame. He’s 60, he’s fit and he could put a bit more effort in, the way he used to when he was hungry for success. We pay a lot of money to see him in different countries and would love to see him appreciate that as much as he used to. As for you, are you a fan or do you follow the band in another way?
@@glorialee1067 Gloria, your comments are understood and you do make valid points. To assist in the debate, I will answer your question: I am a massive a-ha fan (basically a male version of you, Gloria!). Thank God in heaven they came back in 2015. Those five years were horrible without them! He does look after himself and just watch Rod Stewart at 74, or Mick Jagger! Are you going again this year?!
Mr Bee, thank you so much for your kind compliments! This camera is actually ten years old now. It is a Panasonic Lumix - quite heavy and expensive in its day. Fortunately was in row A, pressed against a barrier which acted as a tripod! Have you seen the band on this tour yet, Mr B?!
Thanks for the video. I love this band.
