+Caldera Records That's what first struck me. How real she was. Then I heard her voice and was completely hooked. I saw her perform 'Progress' on Q&A and she actually made me cry. I couldn't believe it. I don't love Spoken Word. I have a really hard time listening to it. But I could listen to hers forever. It's so light and heavy that it's perfect. No pretensions, no airs, no artificiality at all. She kills me.

Reading this comment in hindsight...the world couldn't be more fucked up and corrupt now. The biggest divide between rich and poor, people starving and the government taxing poor people so the rich can keep on getting richer.

I love her accent. I couldn't warm up to some of her other songs, but this one is very listenable. My current favorite song.
You have to listen to her first full length album. From start to finish. Straight through. There is an amazing surprise there. Listen to her lyrics closely. You have not even begin to imagine the genius of this girl. It was at the end of my second listen when I got it. And when it clicked I was amazed.
It's not about the style of music but the WORDS - listen to her poetry :P

She's making a big name for herself and hate it or love it, this is much better than a lot of the pap that makes it today... Blur for instance. I'm an old prog rock dinosaur at heart but I cant help but like this and I say good luck to the girl. Heard her being interviewed on 6Music and she is unpretentious and hard working.

FrANubis have a look at my thumbnail I am a massive alan wake fan. So much so I have a V8 swapped Nissan 350z project car. I have decided to do a complete Alan wake theme simply as I loved that game so much. I have done an alan wake render and the garage is taking my car in October this year. Should be ready by January.
