Apparently there's a special tool to remove the ignition from the front. You'd think you could have shown it for more than 1/10th of a second OR made some remark concerning it..... ?? Can you please place a note in the remarks or comments regarding this?

Hello. I have Mercedes S320 1999 and the key doesn’t work and not start the car, but the doors is work with the key. I don’t know, maybe just only the new ignition switch and key change enough? 🤔 thank you very much

search eis ignition removal tool on ebay. They're about $10.
Okay could you possibly show how you remove the 3rd connector it's very very complicated. The connector with the single black wire going to it?

Jus'CalMe Teal we charge $300 to repair, $100-150 for new ignition. if we have it in stock, turn around is next day.

Jus'CalMe Teal When we program it, you just plug in and drive, there is no need to take it to the dealership.

Would removal of the EIS on the 2002 E430, be done the same way?
That one is different have to remove way more stuff to take it out from bottom
