I just love how they were all affected by Frieren's Forbidden Flirting Skill. Fern (literally raised by a priest): SUPER EFFECTIVE Stark (zero experience with romance): SUPER EFFECTIVE Sein (an actual adult): "Who is this sassy lost child?"
I firmly believe that Sein's brother should have been able to cure Stark's poison but wanted to show off Sein as a talented priest so that adventurers will want to recruit him and get him off the village. Heiter acknowledged his talent enough to be transferred to the capital after all.
The VA for the Japanese Frieren also plays Anya in Spy X Family. The animators even had Frieren do the Anya smirk when she showed Fern the potion to make clothing disappear.
Love that we also got to see the sort of information that Heiter had given to Fern that shapes who she is. she’s not mad at Stark. She’s mad at everyone. With the occasional exception for Frieren lol.
Sein is my one of my fav character in this show. Idk he's a funny guy and really fit well in the group, plus same VAs as Gojo too! Loved to see him more in the future.

It's not super action-packed, even though the action scenes we do get are very good. There's no crazy plot twist or some complex plot. But the thing this series does so well are emotional bonds and the characters that form them. This series is also my new obsession, I thank you, ladies, for putting me on it.
