Harvest festival at the Mariahoeve | Putten | 2024

On Saturday 27 July, the annual harvest festival will be held on the grounds of the Mariahoeve Museum Farm, a unique location on the Veluwe. Old times will be revived on this day.
There will be plenty to do on the Museum Farm on this day. For example, workshops on ‘mowing with a scythe and with a sight’ and ‘old-fashioned harvesting’ will be given and there will be many other demonstrations to see. Old crafts, traditional costumes and many market stalls, where a variety of products can be found, will be present on the grounds of the Mariahoeve. Veluwe FM will provide live coverage. And the Putten Farmer Dancers will also be present.
Melkmoes according to an old Veluwe recipe will be for sale, as well as home-made farm boys. Of course, the catering industry will be well represented. There will be hamburger rolls and fries for sale and an ice cream is of course a must in warm weather. In short, there will be plenty to eat and drink. There will be a bouncy castle for the children and they can have their faces painted. Every fifteen minutes there is a guided tour of the museum.
