- im not even going to tell you how long i worked on this because the quality doesnt match the time. no i am going to tell you. i'm typing this at 4:30 AM and i had begun working on this at....want to guess??? 2:30 PM. thats 14 hours into this. 3 of which admittedly i was trying to make reggae music for the cooking portion. i dont know why and when i eventually did cook up an embarrassment of a contribution to the genre, it was so bad i could've cried. it actually put me in a bad mood. and reggae never puts me in a bad mood-quite the opposite actually. maybe, and probably for the better, im destined to forever be just a listener. a good lesson learned: not all genres have to be conquered.
anyway, i love making the music for these (especially the outro bits i save those for last because, well it's the end.(but i also just love doing them it's so fun.)) my little computer was running so slow today and when i was doing the animation stuff i only had one USB-C cord for the two devices i needed. (ext. hard drive and ipad) ipad was dead and wouldnt hold a charge so everytime i had to animate i would unplug the hard drive, thus having to close down final cut and boot it back up when the drawing was done. i learned on the boot up it takes about 10 minutes of lagging and spooling until it is warmed up and ready to take my commands again. both key commands (such as command-C, command-v, command-b (that's copy, paste, split) and verbal commands.
i'll stop whining i loved every second of it. i watched 2 randome anime shows on netflix to completion on mute. couldn't tell you what happened but it was nice to look up every once and a while and see denouements (french word for conclusion) to conflicts i didn't know were conflicting. i am done yapping. i have had one meal today (this morning at 11:30) and maybe 1/16th of my usual water intake. but you know what? i had a great day. i really did. do i sleep? do i stay up all night. who knows. stop yapping. okay.
