Goodwill is actively testing people’s limits on what they’re willing to pay nationwide. It’s going to keep increasing until they see a decrease in sales.

Regardless of brand, that leather patchwork purse at 5:21 would have been a solid style-based pickup (at least to my Depop sourcing eye!)

Wholeheartedly agree! I usually see those in bucket backs so the little backpack would move I think.

My best area for photos is with the morning sun on my dining room table with the front yard (trees, snow, etc) in the background. I also have an area in one of the bedrooms set up with 4 lights and neutral background. Also, we love our toaster oven/air fryer. Makes the best roast chicken breasts and potatoes. Very little oil and quick! Enjoy!

I live in Pennsylvania and my bins raised the price from 1.89 to 1.99. I realized that price just about guarantees your bill will be $?.96 or .98. I always round up because it is easier to enter whole numbers in a spreadsheet when totaling up your cost of goods. I saw a video of a bins store in California and the pound price was $4.30.

I have a family member that is a "big wig" regional manager for some Goodwills and she explained to me that they sell their unsold chlothes overseas by the pound for almost $6 per pound VERY easliy. So they do NOT care if we like what they price their items for or not. They price their items to get the most of what they think they can get out of us and if we dont buy it they really dont care because it will get sold at either the bins or for sure by the overseas companies for even more. So they really dont care. They gonna get good money regardless. Plus, they pull all of the really nice things that they know are worth a lot of money to sell them selves online & on eBay. Plus, she said they are learning what to look out for by whatching resellers on youtube. Lol.
I can't stand Goodwills' level of greediness. However, the only thing that is going to stop them is if people stop donating their stuff to them. They get all these tons and tons of pounds of clothing given to them for free, and they are not really helping anyone much at all like they used to claim, and they really dont care anymore.

Let me just add that I am not close to this lady. She is an in-law (married to my uncle, my mom's brother). This conversation came up at Christmas get-together.

As far as photographing inside, all I use is a hand helded ring light and a three fold board from Walmart. Gives me a clean white background. This way you can photo and list at anytime.

I am so glad to hear you talk about professional sports and the BS that it is, between completely unprofessional unacceptable behavior and what they get paid it is insane! People may call us haters but that's ok I don't have time for that in my life!

It’s hard to support, enjoy pro sports (and now college sports) because it’s all about money and not the love of the game. Franchises have no loyalty or appreciation for their fans. Spectators are only good for the money they can throw at teams by the bucketful. Going to games has become a status symbol, not an athletic display of skills. Pro sports does mirror what our culture has become. Hoarding and worshiping money at the expense of the increasingly impoverished majority. Where do the extra profits GW must be receiving go? To the employees, job training, supporting those in need OR to the corporate honchos and their conspicuous displays of ego. Just wondering?

We've been at $2.09 for a little over a year, when I started going to the bins post pandemic I think we were at like $1.19 or something like that, but we don't have separate pricing for hardgoods like you do, I'm sure pretty soon we'll get bumped to $2.29 or so as well.

I hear ya about the pro athletes making so much money, but the thing they are doing is generating so much money that it's good the people actually doing the work are getting rewarded with a large share. If not it would just be team owners making Billions.

Just wondering as you usually refer to the sneakers, you 'threw them in the wash' can you be more specific on how you handle them? I had six pairs of sneakers and threw them all in the washer together. 4 of the pairs of shoes were ruined. So wondering how to do it correctly???? Thanks!

You showed good judgement and restraint going to Krogers instead of Chopotle. I;ve used the powdered PB before and reg, PB tastes so much better. Especially Krogers PB. Nice find on the Kate Spade!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but your voice overs while sourcing is much quieter than the beginning and endings of the video. I have to turn up the volume to hear you, then a commercial comes on suddenly and blasts my ears. Is that fixable? I haven't noticed this when listening to other resellers.
