Good weather, clear audio and well researched commentary, great review! By far the most useful review video of the Zero 2016 DSR I've seen yet.

If you take a long trip, before your battery run out. Check in a motel, when they are not looking, park your Zero motorcycle inside motel room for free charging with motel's electricity.

Great review- thanks for the info. I was wondering how comfortable you are on the bike? I'm 6'2" and 215 pounds and need a much more comfortable ride vs. my cruiser. Your thoughts?

You are exactly my size and I find my bike perfect. I paid for a cushier seat though, lol

Why is the belt exposed? shouldnt it be covered like it is on CVT transmissions because the belt is quite fragile.

    • @draycodragon6634

THat is stock the belt is exposed the belt is Kevlar made so it is strong

Belts on cvt transmissions are often kevlar as well but those are not exposed. Its also not entirely kevlar, rubber needs protection from the elements, wind, cold heat all make it degrade, harden, crack ect so i dont understand why it isnt just covered.

IDK that is how they make their bikes... never had an issue with it.

Cant wait for these to drop in price like Tesla did with the new upcoming model. This (ZERO) company is fairly new so they need to build up production in order to decrease in price + up the battery technology. Would love to own one.

what has your electric bill been like since buying this?

Theyre cheaper than you think. Much cheaper than gas would be. costs about a penny a mile in electricity. a full charge is under $2 on your bill.

about 15$ more a month. i split up my riding with my gas bike to. it is about $1.75 to fully charge the bike but i never go below 50% on a charge by the end of the day.

90mph in 5 secs from 40mph... wearing Tshirt and no protective jacket/gloves....not cool man! Impressed by the bike and good video though.
