Before setting himself on fire, he said he would "no longer be complicit in genocide" and that he was "about to engage in an extreme act of protest." He continued that his extreme act was no worse than people in Palestine had been going thru, and that he rejected the new standard the ruling class had set as normal.
As he was broadcasting his message to the world, he was also calmly marching towards martyrdom with a firm mission showing unconditional determination and courage. He was resolute and incredibly showed no signs of apprehension. Without any delay, he methodically put the live camera on ground, walked in front several feet away by that embassy gate, he stood facing the camera in a show of defiance, poured fuel even onto his head and face, proudly donned his army cap on, unflinching lit himself on f........ he stood as if he were a concrete pillar of strength, and he meant business. He stood and stood as the fire engulfed him in a horrific scene he never wished upon others. After setting himself on f., he yelled "free Palestine" repeatedly 4 to 5 times while grasping for breath in between chants, he held his ground standing and standing displaying his determination what he believed in, and at the end screamed until he no longer could and melted to the ground still on fire....
That embassy sent out a victimhood statement saying, "they were not hurt," as if Aaron, the US serviceman, was a nobody but nuissance. His country and the media have not honored him nor even acknowledged him.
